this video really makes me cry, i lived a couple houses down from him, and he was such a great man, always gave big bear hugs when he saw you... and to see him on stage looking the way he did at the benefit show, and him having to get help getting up there....that was the hardest thing about it. Ean you were the most kindhearted person ive ever known, and you will surely be missed.

I was on the Simple Man Cruise this past Jan. just after he went to the hospital. It is a tragedy for both him and Billy. Ean lives on in the hearts of all the southern rock fans, just keep in mind what he has done and his spirit will never die!

This is a truly outstanding video. I met Ean in Chatt. after wearing a tshirt saying Leon #1 (only because I missed Leon and had not met Ean yet) Later that night we met Ean and Ava at The Chattanoogan hotel bar and he wanted the shirt so after Ava giving me a shirt it was his. He was so awesome to talk to, you never would have known he was such a superstar. In Atl 2 months later where I live, he pulled the shirt out on stage and rocked with it on his guitar. Ean and this video 2 thumbs up

Ean sure did carry the torch well, I am honored that Leon passed the torch to Ean, and he told Ean "I want you to carry it on ,when I Die" and Ean did it very well! It's just so hard to believe Ean has passed on now. It still leaves a hole in my heart., I honestly can't stop crying about Ean, whenever i Hear a Skynyrd song. , i break down. But as i said before, Ean is up in Heaven looking down on all of us! and man, they have one hell of a band up there now!

Yes Leon knew not just any ordinary person could handle the job and he chose someone exceptional. I am with you on the crying part, I just keep watching the videos and playing back the 3 times I was fortunate to apend him and Ava. I felt like I knew him forever, gosh what a great listener and he really did listen to what I had to say. But the best thing was seeing the TRUE LOVE they had together, you do not see that often fr a couple thats been together that long TOTALLY COOL

Yea it was hard to put it together. This song was the last song Leon Wilkeson recorded with Skynyrd,and to me it is about Ean and Leon!

as you can see at 5:25, thats a pic of Ean and Lee Jr, (Leon's Son) That was the pic that The Torch was passed to Ean,and with Lee by his side!

Ean is now Jamming with Leon and Ronnie and the rest of the FreeBirds ,and i bet they have a heck of a band up there!

i was at the missippi kid festival and i must say it was THE show to see of the year! real great music and lots of heart put into it, i was about 15 or 20 feet away from ean when he stepped out of his limo, ironically enough the same car i rode to prom in. once in a lifetime scene and I'm glad i grasped it when i could!!!

this has been one of my support songs for awhile much like my love of the skynyrd band...your presence was a blessing in a time of sadness for those of us who grew up with leon and I thank you ...may you find strength now in family, friends and most importantly fans...

If you are talking to me...Thank You! Thats real kind. I was supposed to meet Leon,but he passed away 2 weeks before i was devastated, still am... When i saw Ean in 2001 ,i saw in his eyes that he had the passion to fill Leons Boots and continue the music.and Ean Evans sure had my respect. I just can't imagine going to a Skynyrd Concert and not seeing Ean there...I sure hope he gets better.

God took Leon ,but please don't take Ean too.. I can't have 2 Heros in Heaven.
