My cats Sebastian and Tiger (both have since passed away) were very protective of our property. My dad taught them the property line, and they were usually really good about staying in our yard.
So one day, the neighbor's dog (a friendly German Shepherd puppy) gets loose and wanders onto our property. My dad took the dog and started walking him back to our neighbor's yard, when--BOOM!--Sebastian kamikaze attacked the dog. The poor pup went running for his life, never knowing what hit him. LOL
