I like this movie - and I'm female - it's easy to watch, very smooth - acted well but lighthearted - and OH is bloody good in it! It's a shame that everybody doesn't know just how great an actor Olievr was!

What people are not conscious of that Hardy, for all his weight, was very graceful and agile. He and Jackie Gleason were among the most graceful big men who ever lived

@WSenator1 Just watch him dance...light as a feather, and he could sing as well! Good comparison with Jackie Gleason, certainly another multi-talented entertainer.

The comic relief still shows bright and
true, although its a serious part for Hardy.
Did you see Oliver Hardy light off his horse? He was as nimble as a thinner
man; and had to be to survive all his
slapstick "accidents" that, according to
Laurel, he always did himself without
a stunt man. Enjoyed this. Perhaps
Hardy's career would have been as a
side-kick if he and Laurel hadn't met.
