There is no way you will get a car with the frontal area of a smart car getting to 200mph with 200hp.

Bikes are lucky to hit 200mph and they have 1/4 of the frontal area of this thing, even though it is small by car standards.

If someone could be bothered I am sure the frontal area and CD could be found through a program like car test. I'd estimate though that the Smart would need a tad over 300hp to hit that speed.

well... the potential top speed of anything with an engine is a function of drag and power-to -weight. I reckon a smart car probably has a lower drag signature than a hayabusa... I know it's much bigger but a Smart is quite streamlined whereas a bike has a person sitting on it. All the turbulence around the rider is the reason there isn't a true 200 mph bike around yet. Aerodynamic drag builds up as a square of the speed.

i dont think you call a pipe modified it wasnt full exhaust just a titanium muzzy muffler.. and btw mine doesnt have that kind of speedo its digital and i had a aftermarket gps speedo..my zx10r wasnt bought at a dealer it was bought straight from kawasaki as a race bike only when i insured it they said i could not ride on streets... so maybe is why it does 200mph the gps said actual speed of 202 at 11,000rpm and thats where it was limited instead of the 13500 redline.
