  • @Kramd1 true study of all biblical and Christian related items throughout will show that Satan has a opposite for everything. Wether it's symbols, places, events, scripture mingled with the philosophies of men etc. Therefore anytime you see proof of Christ or his prophets you will find an opposite. Bible says there is opposition in all things.

The all seeing eye dates back to before Christ. It's found in all cultures in differed forms because it's first appearance was in re sky with the al

  • JosephSmith was a Mason he plagiarised more than just the temple ordinances and symbols. It is little wonder the masons killed him at Carthage. Where else did he get the temple concept from ?

  • @Ba As was said earlier. If you love you will keep His commandments naturally. Which means that you would still have to keep the ones that He has given. Noone can keep all of the commandments 100% of the time, they would have to be perfect.

  • Likewise, the body of Jesus had to be hurriedly prepared for burial before the sunset would commence the Sabbath, which would be a "high day" (John 19:31) because it was not only Saturday, the weekly Sabbath, but also 15 Nisan, the first day of Passover.

  • you do NOT think you should tell the truth?

come on, your ENTIRE youtube existence is to mock and DISTORT the LDS religion. Even your username.

go sell crazy some place else!

These classes make it possible to get training in your home whenever you want, and it is so nice that it is free."

  • @BaurakAle7

maybe your christ, my God is love!

  • Do not be hesitant to ask for a priesthood blessing when you are in need of spiritual power.

  • @omiolo I really thought that you may have learned to consider Scripture in context by now.....But then again,I have always held high hopes for Morgbots...lol...

  • @tezkingkong

I realize you have to label others in a degrading way to make you feel better about yourself.

Does your god teach you that?

  • are you stalking me again?

seriously, what have you AGAINST keeping the commandments of God?

  • Similarly, Paul taught that the Law of Moses "was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ" (Gal. 3:24), and that it was "a shadow of good things to come" (Heb. 10:1).

  • President Taylor said, "Amy has such a happy personality, and it is always a treat for us to see her at branch meetings and activities. You don't have to be around her very long before you are feeling good, too. The teachings of the gospel are foundational to the way she approaches life. This is surely the source of her happiness and positive outlook. Amy is going to be a great coach at the gym where she is employed now that she is retiring from competition."

  • She said she has achieved every goal she set for herself in power tumbling and topped those goals off with her several medals in national and international competition.

  • Second, pray with and for your sons. Give them priesthood blessings. A son who is worried about a big exam or a special event will surely benefit from a fathers priesthood blessing. Occasions like the start of a new school year, a birthday, or as he begins to date may be opportune times to call upon the Lord to bless your son. One-on-one prayer and the sharing of testimonies can draw you closer to each other as well as closer to the Lord.

  • Dont think you have to try to fix everything or solve everything during these visits. Most of the time, the best thing you can do is just listen. Fathers who listen more than they talk find that their sons share more about what is really going on in their lives. Dads, listen to your sons.

  • " Who shall ascend into the hill of the

    Lord?

or who shall stand in his holy place?"

  • We are told over and over God does not dwell in a house built by hands of men. Jesus left the Jewish Temple Desolate to the nation for good cause. He overturned the money changers at the temple for good cause. And Josephus, A Jews Jew and a General says the Jews Earned their destruction. Read him. Now Polygamy is legal in Israel and soon a temple will be built and a Red Heifer slaughtered in it. Could this be the Abomination of Abominations? Was the Blood of Jesus enough for anyone?

  • @IExpos Jesus Himself called the Temple His Father's house

  • @stevejames1012 Well, Jesus obviously wasn't pleased with what he saw in his dads house. Thats why he whipped the money makers and left the place desolate to them. It is this Jewish Temples occupants that murdered Jesus using Roman Law to do what they "legally" were inhibited from performing themselves. The ritual used by the Jews is called "Pharmakos". It is mentioned in Rev 18. Christianity is not here to establish a Jewish nation and ritual.

  • @IExpo The point is, it is God's house, ie He can dwell there. That was the whole idea behind the tabernacle

  • @stevejames1012 That is a serious error. God doesn't dwell in a house made by hands of man. Never will. It's morally revulsive. Have you seen what is going on in the world? We're fortunate he lets us pray to him. Is that the same temple and logic that was used to murder the messiah? Is that what you're saying? Is the Jewish Temple a temple of apology to Christians and Jesus? I think not. It is a temple of ritual animal sacrifice. And God is sick up to here with it. I read it in the bible.

  • @IExpose It is certainly not the logic use to kill the Savior. That's quite a jump to mislead conclusions. Indeed the temple is nothing of the sort. Remember that those animal sacrifices were commanded by GOD. They were a similitude of the Atonement of Christ. Where do you read that God is sick of it?

  • @stevejames1012 Way back in Isaiah. And God is sick of it. Why would God want to live in a house of ritual animal sacrifice. Why did Jerusalem fall? Why did Josephus say "they earned their destruction".. Christianity isn't here to confirm, conform to or build up Judaism and Jerusalem. One of the hallmarks is the end of ritual animal sacrifice.

  • @IE Indeed. Mormons most certainly do not do any type of animal sacrifice. YOu say that God is sick of it, then why did He institute it? We now live a higher law, part of doing so is temple worship. This is omething that is so prevelant and obvious in the bible that only someone with preconceived notions against it would not notice.

  • @IExposeMormonism . You expose nothing but the fact that you do not wish to allow people to worship how, where or what they may. The best way to expose mormonism is prove there is no God.

  • @gateway1965 JS took 2000 years of Christianity and turned it on its head. It then proclaimed all non Mormon worship anathema. Mormonism re-institutes all of "Old World Religion" Just as JS and others desired and stated. I believe the 2000 yr est. story of Jesus. Joe wants to nullify it and kill me if I don't "do it his way". How would you like it if I took your name and did a 180 degree turn with it? It's called slander.

  • I wonder how Jesus took it when all of a sudden the Mormons stopped burning incense for him. It must have been a drag.

  • Holy Place, the Tabernacle of Moses contained the following areas and objects:

    # The Gate

    # Brazen Altar and the Tabernacle Sacrifices

    # Laver (Basin)

    # Menorah (Lampstand)

    # Table of Showbread

    # Golden Altar of Incense

    # Holy of Holies and the Veil

    # Ark of the Covenant

  • Mormons will save America.

    Their Business ethics

    Their views on the family

    Their patriotism

  • Interesting also on the Menorah, Margaret Barker has shown that it is also the symbol of the Goddess. That's in her book "The Great High Priest."

The 12 loaves are also the cosmic symbolism of the cosmic astronomy of the 12 signs of the Zodiac. That's in a book called "Oedipus Judaicus" by Sir William Drummond. A great read! Ties in the 12 tribes of Israel with the Zodiac also. Don't forget King Arthur and the knights of the round table either. Lots of symbolism.

  • At 2:10, the woman said it was a thin veil. It was anything but thin, not did it have slits in it for the purpose of inserting hands to perform masonic-like grips as the one in LDS temples. So, I'm not sure where the resemblance is.

  • There was nothing to symbolize anyone being invited into the holy sanctuary, because the atonement wasn't complete yet, DUH!

  • What are you talking about? After the atonement, the veil was torn from top to bottom. There was no veil after the atonement.

  • Yes and that theory compliments the theory that wherever 2 or 3 evangelicals gather, that is a holy place, and God is satisfied and will sanctify it. Crossing the veil is smybolic of accepting the covenents of God, and crossing into the (symbolic celestial world) It's all smybolic. It doesn't mean we don't believe the atonement happened, duh, and reduh.

  • Christ is in the presence within the community of believers. That's not a theory. That's a scriptural fact. The point is that there's no veil, period. The veil that the LDS have in their temples isn't even remotely similar to the one in the Biblical temple. LDS boast about their temple building practices and pretend to be a restoration of all things biblical (including temple worship) but there's absolutely no similarities between the two & the veil is just one aspect of that fact.

  • And you know all this how?

  • Experience & knowledge.

  • Can you be a little more specific, or should I just take you're word for it? For instance your non answer response by saying "Christ is in the presence within the community of believers. That's not a theory. That's a scriptural fact", has nothing to do with my point. I talked about places becoming holy, not people being influinced. Isn't that what a temple is all about. God's presence in a place, not only a person.

  • My statement regarding Jesus being in the presence of His people being a Scriptural fact versus a theory was in response to your comment regarding it being a theory. I don't know what your beliefs are personally, but Christians believe that Scripture is true & factual, not theoretical. With that said, the idea of a particular "place" becoming "holy " (like a temple or something) is not applicable to this dispensation. Jesus was clear that God is more concerned with truth rather then locality.

  • You are deliberately misrepresenting my statement about how the doctrine of 2 or 3 witnesses is used by some to disqualify the need for temples, by saying I was saying that doctrine was a theory, and by hiding behind your non sequitar fallacy ("like a temple or something) is not applicable to this dispensation. Jesus was clear that God is more concerned with truth rather then locality".) Spare me that feigned naivity.

  • I meant naivety, but playing dumb, says it better

  • It was not my intention to deliberately misrepresent anything you've stated. I can only respond to what which you post. Perhaps proof-reading what you type to see how it's going to come across to a reader would help prevent anything like that happening in the future. As for as my comment regarding the uselessness of temples in this dispensation, it's not naive at all. There's no use for the temple. The fact that the veil was torn & the structure was destroyed in 70 AD is very telling.

  • The temple was destroyed because it was desecrated by the people whochose to crucify their reedemer, not because it was useless. The veil in modern day temples is symbolic of the atonement, by virtue of crossing through it, so it's presence is not redundant as you claim. Proofreading my first comment has nothing to do with the fact that you continued to argue it, after it was clarified, you are being dishonest or you honestly don;t understand a word i've said, which is it?

  • " The fact that the veil was torn & the structure was destroyed in 70 AD is very telling". Telling of what? Explain yourself for once.

  • Or does the "all purpose torn veil" cover that too. Half your facts are sectarian nonsense, that was adopted to fit the fact that the priesthood, and the true covenants and ordinances were lost(if they indeed ever had all that was intended) to the "so called" Christian world about 1800 years ago.

  • Look, the whole LDS story of the priesthood is nonsense. Neither you (assuming you're a male) or any other male within the LDS Church hold any priesthood because neither one meets the qualifications. Take the Levitical priesthood, for instance. You have 12 year olds holding it when the Bible states that one first must be a descendant of Aaron & that they must be in the prime of manhood. 12 years old is not the prime of manhood. Sorry.

  • Again the double standard about OT rules being in force, when it comes to the priesthood. Face it, your arguements are taken from your own point of view, sectarian nonsense, and have nothing to do with any revelation, or scriptural fact

  • My own point of view? Since when did I write the Pentateuch? After all, that is where my information is coming from. Have you ever read the qualifications of those who hold the priesthood in Scripture? I suggest you do so before you continue this escapade. You just might learn something that you previously didn't know.

  • escapade? What in the world are you talking about? I know what the first five books of Moses are, I also know what the NT says. So please don't talk down to me. My claims don't all need to be demonstrated through the lens of the OT, it's for the most part laws that have been done away with through the atonement.

  • Just because Levi was the tribe that held the priesthood then, it doesn't mean the priesthood itself is obselete if no Levite's can be identified to hold it. Kind of like claiming God's power is obselete too. Oh I forgot, it is. No more revelations, no more ordinances, no more priesthood, no more anything, just some bogus claim about only needing God's grace. Sectarian hogwash.

  • "Look, the whole LDS story of the priesthood is nonsense". That statement is not anti-Mormon? The Levitical as you call it, or Aaronic priesthood is under God's authority, and can be held by anyone it pleases God to hold it. The same goes for any other priesthood.

  • You're baseless claim that it cannot, doesn't change that. It's a prepatory priesthood in this dispensation, and it's higher functions have been replaced by the higher priesthood. Whether you believe it, or not, doesn't change a thing. Different dispensation, different rules, you used the same claim earlier, with your offerings on the veil.

  • "It says no such thing, that is the simplistic conclusion you draw from it. The "others" I suppose will pop up out of thin air? There won't be any tribes or people to form these future nations? "

It says exactly that! Look at the text, the meaning is simple

"The "others" I suppose will pop up out of thin air?"

Yes, but only if the Nephites & Co dwindle in unbelief

If they toe the line there will be no others

    It's just a THREAT!

Don't you even understand the BofM yet?

  • As far as temples being the same today, what is your expertise in what God would like to have represented in his temple? And if the veil is as you put it, obselete, why wouldn't some other things be redundant as well? You're argument contradicts itself.

  • Well, I have Scripture. What else would you expect me to have? Scripture states very clearly what the temple was for and the LDS temples have nothing in common with that purpose. The LDS temples are more in common with masonic temples than the Biblical one. Who do you think you're fooling here? Get real.

  • What is curious as well as that what suits you is automatically obselete, but what is not such as old temple rites, makes modern day rites non binding, and ridiculous. Bit of a double standard, typical anti mormon tactic, along with saying the bible suppoorts you're position without clarifying. Another logical fallacy (IE arguement from silece)

  • What suits me? I never disclosed what suits me. You're overreacting just because I happened to disagree with something you believe in. That's not a crime. And please don't resort to calling me an "anti-Mormon" just because I happen to disagree with Mormonism. That's petty and will get you no where. The fact is that the temple rites in Scripture and those in the LDS temples are completely different. Do yourself a favor and examine this topic rather than lambasting me with baseless allegations.

  • First of all, stop hiding behind the semantics of the language you use. Anybody can see through it. What are you a politician? What suits you = what you claim. What are we doing here, debating the language or your postulations or the facts.? You make no sense. And you were the one who first posted here that the claims in this video were erroneous, to me that is an anti mormon posture. Or is this more grey area of language? Like I should have said semi anti-Mormon

  • Hebrews 9:2

"For there was a tabernacle made; the first, wherein was the candlestick, and the table, and the shewbread; which is called the sanctuary. "

I didn't realize the significance of the 12 Apostles eating the shewbread until now!

We give our best to God!

  • That was really interesting to me too, and that there were 12 loaves.

  • Very interesting video. Thanks for posting it.

Great job. Holiness to The LORD, The House of The LORD
