When Beck comments on their totally different spectral ideologies and insists they're "just in bed together," their reply neglects to mention a key concept. if vermont were an independent state and the new confederacy were an independent republic, they would each be free to attempt to shape the new, smaller states into an anti-corporate, ethical haven in the case of vermont and a PC-free utopia in the case of the south. if they succeeded, their other disagreements wouldn't matter any more.

The subject of his program that day was how The Confederate flag is evil and all Southerners who stand for their heritage are really closet racists. I don't mind Glenn Beck sometimes, but he acted very arrogant in this interview. He wasn't even listening to what they were saying. He just had a pre-determined conclusion about them and already knew he woudn't agree with them before he had them on. Which is ridiculous.
