I still get hypoclycemia if i eat only a small meal in the morning. I am two months into 955, like zero fat. I am running into hypoglycemia every single time when i forget to eat after a small breakfast. It only occurs in the morning exactly 2 hours after a 500 calorie meal for breakfast. I had the same thing with proteinshakes, which i used to drink for breakfast before i went 955. So it must be more to it then.

Fructose won't raise or lower you blood glucose levels but it will give you a fatty liver and lead to insulin resistance. I wrecked my health and my teeth as a raw vegan. Now I eat as close to zero carb (high fat/protein) as possible. My lipid profile, liver function, A1C... have improved and my teeth have stopped eroding. My saliva was always acidic on the raw vegan diet. Now it's alkaline eating primarily meat.!

I was overweight, was allergic to pollen, soar and bleeding gums, sleeping problems asf. @durianriders Usually, hypoglycemia is caused by the body's overreaction to ingested sugars. Too much insulin is released and the blood sugar drops too low. This is reactive hypoglycemia. Most hypoglycemic people will find that eating sugar often causes a roller coaster effect where sugars go too high and then too low, and sugars consumed do not provide energy for long enough.
However, fruit and vegetables, even in a low fat diet, can maintain a good sugar level because of the fiber present.
just saw a documentary while ago,was about blending , if you blend any kind of food the digestion is much slower ,the food sped more time in the stomach. they don't know exactly why. so prob if you just eat the bananas it causes higher blood sugar spike. very impressing video ,thanks!
I can vouch for what you say durian rider. I was diagnosed with hypoglycemia a little over 5 years ago before getting into a more plant based diet. These days my diet is mostly fruit and definately vegan. The blood sugar issues disappeared years ago after getting off of refined sugars and animals.

Important to note that one cannot go from a high fat high protein animal rich diet to a banana meal and get the results immediately. One needs to clear the animal fat and protein from their diet for a few days to see these kinds of results. As the fat present in the blood stream from previous meals/regular diet will hold on to and/or elevate any sugars coming into the system.
or..........you could test this out for yourself. eat nothing but fruit for a few days (or however long it takes to make sure the fat is out of your system) then test your blood sugar levels the same way durianrider here has. simple as that. no theories, just pure and simple results right in front of your face.

As a hypoglycemic and as I am writing now I am suffering the effects of just having ingested an organic banana and berry smoothie. I feel fatigued, hungry & dizzy. I regret being lazy and going for a quick sugar fix (the sugar being FRUIT) and am going to fry up some organic eggs and sausage with butter and eat while I watch some raw meat videos.

@actfightmove I've done research and made myself the sacrificial guinea pig for different types of diets. Was doing a high-fat low-carb diet 4-5 months ago and ended up in ER, thought I was having a heart attack (heart tests came back negative, no problems there). The day after I had cravings for bananas, oranges, apples. Clearly my body was malnourished/dehydrated. Now I'm doing low fat high carb and it's been great so far. The blood sugar tests are just more proof of what a healthy diet is.
For hypoglycemic people, an ideal diet can definitely contain fruits and should always contain sugar. The key is not flooding the body with too much sugar regularly.

Wow, a few years ago, I did a bunch of testing for diabetes and my fasting levels were slight above 9. My doctor told me not to worry and just "not have dessert every night".

Prior to eating fruit I was borderline hypoglycemic. At that time i was eating a lot of refined sugars, corn syrups as well as meat and dairy.. Fruit made it really easy to stop eating processeed sugar and junk. I'm 2 years vegan high fruit and veggies and blood sugar has stabilized.

when your hypo you eat sugar and blood sugar goes up then the body make insulin to correct it on we dont have a control and it KEEPS making insulin and then it crashes , if i eat sugar an hour later i will be dying , you need long chain carbs, not junk carbs , vegiees have carbs but take a long time to break down to sugar , like i said if i go below 60 ill eat your liver right out of your body if i cant find food

My background in anthropology and biology confirms your findings. Humans are primates. Bananas are excellent. You don't see fat monkeys with health problems unless they are locked-up in zoos and being fed human garbage 'food' like macdonalds. It's the same with Humans, I don't understand why people CAN'T see that nature gave us everything we need. This is where we evolved, therefore nature's fruit is COMPATIBLE, man-made shite IS NOT.

I used to be fat and always dealing with low blood sugar. Now I'm raw vegan, trim, strong, and never have trouble with my sugar. You rock!!!!! People don't want to face the it!! Fruit fruit fruit!!!!!! That's the way!!! I'm almost 50 and this is the best I've ever felt!!! Strong, calm, great energy, happy!!! Yay!!

@durianriders Usually, hypoglycemia is caused by the body's overreaction to ingested sugars. Too much insulin is released and the blood sugar drops too low. This is reactive hypoglycemia. Most hypoglycemic people will find that eating sugar often causes a roller coaster effect where sugars go too high and then too low, and sugars consumed do not provide energy for long enough.
However, fruit and vegetables, even in a low fat diet, can maintain a good sugar level because of the fiber present.

just saw a documentary while ago,was about blending , if you blend any kind of food the digestion is much slower ,the food sped more time in the stomach. they don't know exactly why. so prob if you just eat the bananas it causes higher blood sugar spike. very impressing video ,thanks!

I can vouch for what you say durian rider. I was diagnosed with hypoglycemia a little over 5 years ago before getting into a more plant based diet. These days my diet is mostly fruit and definately vegan. The blood sugar issues disappeared years ago after getting off of refined sugars and animals.

Important to note that one cannot go from a high fat high protein animal rich diet to a banana meal and get the results immediately. One needs to clear the animal fat and protein from their diet for a few days to see these kinds of results. As the fat present in the blood stream from previous meals/regular diet will hold on to and/or elevate any sugars coming into the system.

As a hypoglycemic and as I am writing now I am suffering the effects of just having ingested an organic banana and berry smoothie. I feel fatigued, hungry & dizzy. I don't need a blood sugar meter to tell me how my body's reacting. I regret being lazy and going for a quick sugar fix (the sugar being FRUIT) and am going to fry up some organic eggs and sausage with butter and eat while I watch some raw meat videos.

@actfightmove I've done research and made myself the sacrificial guinea pig for different types of diets. Was doing a high-fat low-carb diet 4-5 months ago and ended up in ER, thought I was having a heart attack (heart tests came back negative, no problems there). The day after I had cravings for bananas, oranges, apples. Clearly my body was malnourished/dehydrated. Now I'm doing low fat high carb and it's been great so far. The blood sugar tests are just more proof of what a healthy diet is.

For hypoglycemic people, an ideal diet can definitely contain fruits and should always contain sugar. The key is not flooding the body with too much sugar regularly.

I've asked this on so many high carb preacher videos and no one has had an answer yet; where are the studies showing that continual spiking your insulin with huge amounts of fructose is ideal for longevity? A) I don't run half marathons. Never have, probably never will. I don't have much interest in running except at the tail end of resistance training for 20 minutes. I can outlift you. You can probably outrun me endurance wise (i don't condition endurance). My sister's bf runs it in about 1:40:??. his brother in about an hour. they both eat meat (sans fast food) and lots of veggies
B) I don't doubt your times
C) If your diet works for you then keep doin it man.

Prior to eating fruit I was borderline hypoglycemic. At that time i was eating a lot of refined sugars, corn syrups as well as meat and dairy.. Fruit made it really easy to stop eating processeed sugar and junk. I'm 2 years vegan high fruit and veggies and blood sugar has stabilized.

Then i have been doing research by Dr. Robert Young and Brian Clement(hippocrates institute) and they both are advocates of the no sugar diet, no even fruit sugar. Over the year Im definitely gettting under 10% of my total calories from fat.
