This trailer had led me to imagine a much different plot than what it actually turned out. I thought this was about a character who realizes he is living inside a videogame and goes mad from the revelation, then the whole "world" starts unravelling around him.

@TheCommentGuy8 if you play the VR missions on the orange disc then save it..... then start a new game of VR missions on the real disc... all the characters and missions will be unlocket.... that worket for me on the ps2
