  • Are they good quality starter cars? What are the weak points? Thanks, Tim.

  • i rev to 8000 sideways in my g200 1.3 litre

  • nice blow off valve

  • you lose horsepower when you redline

  • redlines at 8800rpm in a charade gtti -_-

  • No it doesnt mate.

  • haha nice!

  • no V6

  • inline triple

  • no v8 either. redlines at 7250 factory

  • @bobctx 1/2 of V6. 3 cilynders

  • are they 3 cylinder engines?

  • yes

  • I'm pretty sure GTti's redline higher than this :S at least 7000rpm, My friends certainly did and it had standard dials etc :S

  • Quick squirt down the road only. Not full throttle run

  • No I mean the dials, your redline starts at 6000 in the genuine GTTi I have driven the redline started at 7250. Either you don't have a genuine GTTi or it is a conversion?

  • I agree with doubleym, the factory GTti cluster features a red-line that is certainly higher than the 6000 yours displays in the vid.

  • @daiclub I don't mean you didn't hit redline, I mean on the GTti I drove redline started higher, at least 7000RPM possibly 7250...

  • @doubleym The dash cluster installed in the car was from the carby Turbo charade hence the redline was only 6000RPM. After all the mods before I sold the car the car was easily redlining at 7950RPM in 1st, 2nd & 3rd :)

  • en el mio yega a 7800 y despues el korta inyeccion

  • not too bad, i think my ex charade ran faster than that a lil... =þ

    its running a HC-C btw =)

  • was just running 10psi on that short little squirt. Didn't even get the chance to finish 3rd gear :)

  • Haha how much Psi is this running
