Mister Blue Birdie simply loves to lie on his back. He taught me this trick when he was a baby. He's been doing it ever since. He's happy healthy and mellow. He's completely drug free.

What is wrong with your bird? This is not a normal behaviour for a budgie - it must be either sick or druged.

It's not at all unheard of. A lot of parrots like to lie on their back. Why should budgies be an exception? It's really amazing what birds do when they are completely comfortable with their owners and feel safe. My mum had a pink and gray that used to roll around on the grass with her in the back yard.
