this is the third zomby song i've heard today(i just discovered him, c'mon, i'm still new to dubstep, although i went above and beyond to find out that it's changed today) do all of his songs end so abruptly? so far thats what i've heard, at first thought the video was buffering then i opened the window and it was over. this badass shit btw. if i showed it to my friends they probably wouldn't believe that its dubstep(goes to show how late the US is in on this)

@nickshel yea i know about those labels... hyperdub stopped releasing dubstep after the Zomby EP, soul jazz has only had the future bass comp, and coki had the only half-time track on it (which wasn't a far departure from his old sound).

@amart7 well the problem is that the most inventive half-step isn't dubstep. In my way of thinking Dubstep is dead, it died after the sound changed from Dub to shit machine sonds. Why don't you check out Future Garage/whatever people are calling it these days if you want some inventive half-step?

@amart7 Well if you're going to so anal that it literally needs to only have kicks on the half-step then obviously Zomby is gonna be the most recently inventive since its a garage idea that only shows its influences in some Dubstep. However, 'Future garage' is not the same as "post dubstep", I think you'll find that 'post dubstep' is new school dubstep artists whereas future garage is old school garage and dubstep heads.
