  • Genius. That guy should put his name down and be famous.

  • 0:49 -thinking- hmm... what to do now

    seriously tht was pro xD

  • @kumikomoonlight no la is rest bar there

  • :O X_X

  • my face when watching this video : )

  • This is absolutely beautiful. In one minute and nine seconds you've earned more respect from me than everyone in my section

  • This probably the easiest instrument to play it on

  • @manrayer88 not really on other instruments you have all your fingers on here you only have 2 hands

  • @manrayer88 You're an idiot.

  • @manrayer88 HAHAHA... wanna see you try it xD ... just kidding :) ... is quite difficult my friend!

  • @santii9305 Bitch please.

  • perfect score...

  • I proclaim today, that the game has been won.

  • where did u get those mallets?

  • It sounds so easy but when you start at it...

  • awesome hand-eye coördination

  • It's not sped up, here's why: This guy uploaded another video of himself playing it, and before he starts playing the piece, you can hear some wind players practicing. When he starts playing the piece, they continue to practice, and you can hear them playing at the exact same speed as they were before while he's playing the piece. So obviously that video wasn't sped up, which means that this one isn't either.

Thumbs up so that everyone sees this explanation.

  • @tenniscrazy2 why would u want to speed up the video? just practise and play it like this :D

  • PWNS ALL MARIMBA PLAYERS!!!

  • daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaang what kind of mallets r thoes

  • Nice, have a look of mine too playing it 8-9 years ago :)

  • Not to say this is easy, but the low framerate makes it look more amazing. But it is difficult, ive been in bamd for three years and after a week i can play the first five measures at about half tempo

  • hahahah wow!

  • my mind has be blown away :O

  • my 2 year old is loving this

  • He must be asian...

  • @MrXGameZ Uhh... I do, you know. Seriously.

  • @MrXGameZ HAHAHAHAHHAH xD thats the best comment i ever saw..like ever !!!!!! lmao

  • @MrXGameZ

It's not that hard to go that fast. Masturbating does help though.

  • That guy has gotta be asian.

  • @guywithscythes his skin doesnt look yellow though

  • I feel like.. this is either a really weird marimba, or this was played slower than we think for accuracy reasons and was sped up... Just how I feel.

    If I'm wrong, then bravo.

I just feel like that lower octave should sound.. you know.. lower..

  • @Marinbot Well u may be right. Watching moves of camera and the drumer I can also feel that they're speed up.

  • It's perfectly played and well arranged. Maybe you chose the wrong notes at 1:02 though.

  • 100 bucks he's asian

  • im white

  • @a13pm what about him

  • im the guy playing the marimba

  • @a13pm then why aren't you the uploader why are you some dude claiming he's playing it

  • @a13pm wait i found another video by the uploader of him playing it and then it's an asian and this guy lives in singapore which is in asia at least the uploader does

  • @CntryStkCity holy crap is right

  • your forearms must have been sore after that

  • 0:47 Ooops hehe

  • That bumblebee must have been on crack!!!

  • Increíble!! Excelente!!! me encanta!!!

  • I just shat a brick. That was amazing.

  • Really good idea, but when the camera moves you really see, that it's been sped up:/

  • actually no it wasnt

  • that was good, and the speed was very impressive. however, there was a complete lack of dynamics. technically impressive, but musically pretty dull.

  • dude, your like a god

  • chuck norris did this, infact its slowed down.

  • yes good u didnt mess up but its pretty obvious u sped up the video :/ nice though

  • @DementedFag or he has serious skillz.........just putting that out there

  • I can speed up videos too. xD That body movement CANNOT be natural.

  • @TheShorttii Look at any good drummer, and tell me their movement ain't real. This thing is just the same.

  • @jcz1996 Sorry, not even a "good drummer" can take a calm step to the side like that so quickly..

  • @Marinbot I am not trying to dis or anything, but he is playing at that tempo. you clearly cannot see his feet. You also have to think about how long he has played marimba.

  • @DasGrimmReaper I never did say anything about his feet. Nor does this playing say anything about how long he's been playing the marimba. His upper body movements just don't look natural, is what I'm saying. Also, I doubt that camera would be able to follow him so calmly at that speed.

  • i like the stutter at 0:48 great job really liked it

  • im just curious,i play the sax so i dont know, does percussion use treble or bass clef?

  • @homedogword: both depending on the song and stuff

  • @StuntGirl1994 k thx!

  • @homedogword1

Percussion uses both treble & bass clef, depending on the instrument... Xylophone, glockenspiel, & usually vibraphone use treble clef, marimba uses a combination of treble & bass, timpani uses bass. Other un-tuned percussion, e.g. various drums, & auxiliary - triangle, tambourine, etc., uses the drum/percussion clef (2 vertical lines spanning between the 2nd & 4th lines of the stave); in this case, each line or space represents a different instrument.

  • Epic

  • it takes me 95 sec to play this on clarinet.... is that bad??

  • Some say it is awesome, I insist it is awful

  • There's a splash on the middle-left of your marimba!!! ;)

  • holy crap that's awesome!

  • yea dude u're fucking awesome lol

  • WTF????????????????

  • IT'S SPED UP u can see it at 0:47 -the quick Movein the brak

  • this is awesome

  • holy! fucking! shit! that is fucking crazy haha

  • Now do the Green Hornet

  • This is CRAZY!!!!

  • man sick skills..!! how can you play that thing so fast..? ? WOW... 0.o

  • @SimpleGuy081 its not hard... ever heard of a blast beat?

  • @ShadowsOf666 you should have taken a clue from his username. SIMPLEguy

  • Omg. I've seen some fast Marimba playing... but this is the fastest! I was so mesmerised I didn't notice any wrong notes that other people talk about... and I wouldn't care if I had! 10 out of 10!

  • you are mad fast on that thing

  • you have your bottom part of the marimba wrong there are supposed to be the things that make the marimba louder its supposed to get smaller as it goes to the higher notes.

  • i really wish i could do that u are amazing i worship you :))

  • your a fucking badass we should spoon

  • you are my marimba hero.

  • when it comes to flight of the bumble, missed notes are a certainty. how many and where determines the quality of the performance. in my opinion i gave this a 9/10. damn good job man.

  • wrong wrong wrong.... but lol nice:)

  • hey dmhr100 shut up who cares if he missed a note! o and this vid is sick nasty

  • Holy craaaap. This is nuts. Being a hornist, I'm not sure of exactly what it takes to be qualified as 'an awesome percussionist', but in my books, you're definately amazing. o.o Well done.

  • How many years have you played? I've played for half a year. I want to play like you. Mikkel Rasmussen 8 years

  • in the begginning i couldnt decide if i should laugh or be completly amazed

  • That was AMAZING!!! I wanna play like that! Only in my dreams! Lol ;D

  • Lol... I used to be able to play the first bit of this on marimba... but reading that damn music was a pain in the ass... Tchaikovsky was the devil! But well done sir and/or madam!

  • @AeroKimba I believe this piece is by Rimsky-Korsakov, not Tchaikovsky.

  • Who cares if he's asían or not he's just like us only that he can play better than us.Great music.!!!

  • 100 bucks he's asian

  • @stevenhamlin1000 What?!

I'll bet you 100 bucks that it does not matter what race or ethnicity he is. Ironically, music is...surprise!... a universal thing. Perhaps you should go to Madrid, Spain and hear a local band there that plays American bluegrass. I know it's hard to believe that kind of thing exists, but it does. Welcome to the new millenium.

  • @HunterMann if you see almost all of these videos have an asian

also i could use a hundred bucks

  • @stevenhamlin1000 Sorry to be a word cop, but you'll need to be more specific when you use the term "asian"(Asian), since about 2/3 of the world is part of Asia. I know it's considered un-PC, but in the old days they'd user the word "oriental", which was more specific.

  • yay! americans can play this too!

  • 32 people are deaf

  • i think its sped up..

  • That was fast bumblebee.

  • WOW!!! i wish i could also play flight of the bumblebee on that big xylophone.........he's excellent

  • @petpet818 marimba. not xylophone. there is a big difference

  • so i play marimba everyday because i play percussion in my high schools band and we are one of the top bands in america and our best player cant even play tht good holy shit your amazing

  • @MrAweomeness play that well. I usually don't make fun of people so as a disclaimer I did this for the humor not to mock you: Best in America, how is your grammar department?

  • @urkhalmaster wtf r u talking about? lmfao

  • @MrAweomeness You said play that good and you should have said play that well.

  • @urkhalmaster oh wow u really think i care about grammer lmfao

  • @iamknownasDavid Pretty sure you can hit edges on a marimba without any ill effects. Vibes gotta watch it though.

  • @Schnarf405 u can but your not supposed to it cracks the wood inside of the bar

  • u messed up at 48 seconds. u fail at life and yea at 30 seconds it was so obvious to notice that wrong note. u fail from .306598452 seconds to 1:08.658541 minutes u failed

    now hows life treating you.

  • @dRunKxfiShzz troll fail, douchebag

  • wow

  • 31 people can't fly!

  • wow i think that the guys in Time Warp had a realy hard time to make this video
