Im so goin to get 1. I got the latest ADB mag and they tested it saying it only has 3hp less than the wr250f with twice as good service intervals they compared it with the 250f and ttr250r.and is only $9999 aus. ttr250r wr250r wr250f

I have one bought it 2 weeks ago and.... i am a little dissapointed, 138kph top speed sluggish climb from 115 revs out and valve bounces before you know it. KTM 200exc is heap cooler my little bro has one and it kicks ass!

first of all, you didn't buy this bike for top speed.

second, top speed after two weeks. you must have ruined the engine.

livnasto that is 85mph in the states. Most 250's don't break that. The XT250 only goes 71mph street so that isn't bad.

Just did the math, the specs put this thing at 26.9 kw which equals 36 hp, for the sake of comparison I found a dino chart of a DRZ400S, that shows a peak of around 35 hp. My mind is made up I have to get this bike! Hopefully I can resist temptation for a year, I have to spend money on my house this year.

Qhy buy the Street legal version if your gonna take all the street parts off? Buy the WR250F if you think mirrors and licenses plates have no use for you. The WR250R is for people old and mature enough to drive on the road as well.
