Oh guys! LOOK LOOK! It's Hermione Junior!! Uhhhhhhhhhhhh! I'd do pretty much anything to get to that castle, exept i have parents that doesn't care, and i'm to young myself, i began reading the books when i was 3, finishing them when i was 5 (In my own language which is danish) (And btw. yes i did have nightmares, but i was too exited to read more, so i read a great book, but had nightmares HP 4ever ;D
By the way, I've never been lucky enough to go to the real Hogwarts, but I am going to the new Universal Theme Park next month. :) I can't wait! I'm going to cry when I get there! And best of all, I'll be there with my boyfriend, who has also been a Harry Potter fan since he was a kid. <3
@CosplayCore I went to universals. Its amazing!!! Def. Get some Butterbeer while youre there its delicious. I like the frozen better when its hot because well.. its colder and sweeter. But I would get both if I were you! Hope you enjoyed your trip if you went I know I did!
SInce she was 4??? Wow... :) Good reader, I bet. :3 I started reading at around the same age, but Harry Potter didn't come out as a book series until I was a little older. My mother used to read it to me in bed until I just took the book from her and read it myself. xD It was more like "Hey... Hey, mama? Mama? You read too slow!!! I wanna know if Voldemort gets Harry or not!!". lol But I've changed since then. I ended up LOVING Harry COMPLETELY. :)
@CosplayCore Yes she is a very good reader and still loves to read & has read and reread all the Harry Potter books now many times. She just read the first one when she was four as we waited a bit for the others as they are a little "darker".
OH MY GOSH! I remember running around this exact place a few years ago. I am obsessed with harry potter and it was lovely to see someone else enjoy it jsut as much!
wow. I never knew the Harry Potter castle was real! I read all the books when I was 9 years old. I read alot, like last year, I read half the Encyclopedia of animals on my own time. (Only half ;) though) Is Mozart gifted?
The parents are actress, artist and entrepreneurs. They worked very hard for over 20 years and were VERY frugal with their money and made wise choices ( including have child late in life).
That said, if there is a will, there is a way, so look at our "how to do extended travel" post on our website. We live large on just 25K a year as we travel the world and it can even be done for free.
Hello to my favorite travelers. I'm so happy to see that you all have traveled safely. As a fellow Harry Potter fan, it was great seening the real place through Mozart's eyes. I would be just as excited being there. Plus, I think she does look just like Hermione Granger. Happy Halloween to you all. Best wishes, Lisa from Chicago
Aww, thanks Lisa! We are in Marbella, Spain now about to take a flight to NYC to meet the kids who travel with us virtually through the non profit Reach The World.
Mozart is thrilled that she is going to be able to trick or treat there with friends that live nearby! She has not had a real Halloween for a few years here, so its thrilling. ;)
chokeonthis414 If you click on more info on this page to the right of the video, you will see that it is Alnwick Castle in Northumberland, UK , plus more that might interest you!
It is a great name, isn't it? That is not her real name though, just a nickname she got as a baby because she was very precocious.
We all picked our heroes for our pseudonyms that we use for our open ended trip around the world, so she picked Mozart. It suits her as she is very musical and Mozart also traveled the world as a child.
I too took my 2 girls aged 12,13 at the time to the same spot!!One of our highlights of our trip to England(from Cincinnati).Their 4th cousins live down the road in Alnmouth,so we took them too! They are HUGE Harry Potter fans and we also got to see Hagrid, and Dummeldorf in Aug. of 04.Seeing this makes me want to go back now!
SO fun! I would've loved to have a flying lesson there too. HUGE Harry Potter fan here! That's great that Mozart's reading the books now :) What a sweet video!
