Back a few years ago, it was more difficult to "hoax" or "doctor" a photograph to make something appear to be a UFO. Someone took a picture of what they claimed to be a UFO and was featured on a documentary. It looked like a picture of an insulator off a power pole, with the "pole" removed. I am fascinated with trhis field of study, however there's got to be a way to authenticate the origin of the data that is submitted as evidence to support the claim, for credibility's sake. Even sceptic's and their disciple's assume that they must be somehow like us, subject to a similar biology and set of natural law's. Otherwise they couldn't catch so many follower's by saying that the distance's involved are simply to huge to be overcome. That is evidence and proof enough that most people expect other's to be the same like them. If not, one has all the emotional reaction's, discrediting and what not. Just have a look at the emotional plague which humanity suffer's from.

In any case where is ET?......Come on people's they are just like myths, with no real hard SCIENTIFIC evidence that they exist/are here. Sure they exist in people's imaginations, and in Hollywood, and maybe in some kinda religious belief system, but for me there has to be unequivocable evidence of their presence before I will accept they are real. I guess in reality I would need to shake their hand (if they have them) and greet them "welcome", assuming they are friendly of course !!!...

I could speculate on possible lifeforms elsewhere, as you may be aware NASA and ESA have long term projects to seek answers to these kind of questions. BUT, and its a BIG BUT, there is no unequivocable evidence for ET, or that they are actually here. Space is an incredibly hostile environment to life was we know it, and the distances between even local stars is immense. Our BEST hope is perhaps an inter stellar communication of some kind, but visiting other star systems is just so unrealistic...

There ws a lot of fuss over the flying discs in post war USA and people became obsessed with watching the skies for fear of missiles/rockets re nuclear attack and the like. Was it ET?. Very doubtful. Im more convinced there are secret military projects around the world and some years afterwards we see the results eg stealth aircraft. I also think there is a poor understanding of atmospheric anomalies beyond everyday knowledge of thunderstorms/clouds etc, such as sprites, earth lights, etc.etc.
