This game has to be one of the most under rated games of all time. The Journeyman project games were amazing. They were epic and made you feel the experience of being in the game almost like the game Myst another classic. I wish they would remake these games again but with stronger and more serious graphics. Sure there were tons of great game titles out there on consoles and even the PC, but this is a game as a gamer i would love to see they would remake.
ich hab diesen trailer damals vor 20 jahren auf einer myst-cd gefunden, grafik und sound waren für damalige verhältnisse absolut top, seltsamerweise hat es sich nicht durchgesetzt das reale schauspieler in spielen zu sehen sind, von daher ist dieser trailer immer noch top and the future will never be the same
What I spike my intrest about the game, when I remember it came out with a PacBell PC, that ran on windows 95. Also the game was the first journeyman project turbo, and it was free game with the PC.
@Ryuukazi I loved Arthur man. Like you said he helped make that game and was a huge part of it. I want to play it again to see if I can get more of his jokes now that I'm older. I played this when I was 13.
I've considered attempting to build a functional BioSupport Suit at some point. The technology exists to keep a person cool inside a skintight suit, as well as the waste management system, and the eyepiece could easily be rigged with Bluetooth to an on-board computer designed to keep track of battery power, waste collection capacity, and vitals (pulse/pressure/temperature). It's more of a wet dream at the moment, but one day I'll save up enough to construct one.
I wish, I had a jumpsuit that can travel back in time, This game was my favorite game of all time. It would be really kool if it was really made into a movie. I miss this game, it also talks me back, when pc games were simple, and u didnt even need a graphics card, all u did was space on your hard drive, memory, etc. May this game live forever
Yes, I'd have to say the nostalgia is the biggest factor for me all these years later. They are still great games in any time period, but all those memories come back when you play... priceless. I think the storyline would make a great TV show. In fact when I first heard about the show "Journeyman", and heard it was about a time traveler I thought that was it, but it wasn't. That show didn't last long. It would have if it was based on this game, no question.
@JunmaiShu It's interesting that you brought up the show "Jouneyman" At first I thought it might have ties to this series as well but it didn't.
I really liked it though, too bad it was canned after about 8 episodes or so. It had a lot of potential with a chance at so many stories but oh well. Moon Bloodgood was in it though and she's damn hot. I loved this game as a kid and it's one of my favourite games of all time.
I thought it was a good show too. I thought Flash Forward was awesome. Naturally shows like this don't survive these days before people have poor taste. They'd rather just mindlessly stare at their tits & ass and reality TV programs. God forbid they have to THINK about plot devices or whatnot. That's asking too much of people these days.
@JunmaiShu Tell me about it. Reality TV is the worst thing to happen to television ever. It's not even reality. The time travel explanation in Journeyman was interesting but you could tell it was over and they just had to half ass it. "You were born in a year that this comet came over the earth so you can go back in time. So could your ex lover I've learned to never get attached to TV shows. games however are solid and the reason you may love it won't just change overnight.

Gotta remember Arthur, that's where this game made it huge, besides the graphics.

@Ryuukazi True, you most likely did, I played it within the first year it came out and that's how old I was then.

This game was really ahead of it's time.. the graphics and the gameplay were pretty impressive for something released in 1995!!

Though kinda dated, I gotta admit that I've seen a few XBox and PS2 games that were put to shame by Buried in Time.
