Nobody is "scamming" anyone. If people didn't want to pay to see impersonators, there wouldn't be any. Ultimate Elvis is actually sponsored by Graceland and/or its affliates. Elvis impersonators do what they do because they love The King and want to keep his magic alive. Frank happens to enjoy the playful, joking side of Elvis, so that's how he interprets him. It's all in fun and the audiences love it.
I was just wondering. According to the Shreveport Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist rules from last weekend, he would have been disqualified right off the stage. Of course, who really knows what the "real" rules are to this Ultimate Contest? Thanks for your answer.

As Elvis himself wrote to an impersonator,
"pursue your own talents." Don't be a copycat and scam money that belongs to the original.

This fella was really serious, was he? If so, now I know why Matt Joyce won.

No, he is not a serious impersonator. He does Elvis for fun as part of his theater troupe, and is a big fan.
