  • Come on baby wait and see!

  • i hate how people call this gay, and shit... when this is so much better than jay z and all the shit today

  • 21 people never learnt how to surf... :/

  • 21 people are hodaddies.

  • ohhh, love <3

  • hipster powers activate: I have this on Vinyl.

  • SOMEONE ROAMING THE STREETS WANTS ME

  • One more Beach Boys song that is a treat to humm!

  • I was in a school concert in 2003 (I was 8 years old) and we did this song. I still remember all the words, and this is the first time I heard this song since then. I love the beach boys :) <3

  • Truthfully, I was brought here by Disney Sing-Along songs.

  • i love this song

  • good♥

  • American Graffitti: One of the great movies of our time. However, I liked the 55 chevy driven by falfa better in Two Lane Blacktop

  • I am sure alot of people with disagree with me on this, but this is my favorite song by the Beach Boys. And my second favorite is 409.

  • @Idelia412 Ur two favorites are the same as mine =)

  • love this kind of music.Wish i grew up in the 50's or 60's instead..

  • @jagelskarmcfly Me too buddy

  • @jagelskarmcfly no internet for you HA-HA!

  • I'm 27 and even for me, this song takes me back. rock and roll.

  • If you dont like the music.... dont listen to it.... Problem solved...

  • A Beach Boys classic, and one of their earliest.

  • "I hate this surfing shit, rock&rolls gone down hill ever since Buddy Holly died"

is a movie quote from American Graffiti made by Paul Le Mat (aka John Milner) to Mackenzie Phillips(aka Carol) while this song was on the radio

  • @Rick6315 Haha, this made me lol. Made my day, thanks for the laugh.

  • @Rick6315 Do you remember who played "Bob Falfa"?

  • @ClubViking63 Harrison Ford .He wore the cowboy hat because he didn't want to get a haircut.

  • @Rick6315 Mmmm you are right, that was his first (?) movie.

About his haircut I did not know.

  • @ClubViking63 American Graffiti was actually his 8th or 9th movie,he was in some tv shows too(Gunsmoke, the FBI,The Virginian, etc.)

  • @Rick6315 Mmmm, you are right, he did some movies before.

  • i hate this surfing shit rock & rolls gone down hill ever since buddy holly died.

  • @mattyhitch1980 Since buddy holly? So led zeppelin wasn't any good? Or any 70's / 80's band? This isn't shit, you just need to broaden your horizons.

  • @Codestuh are you young or just stupid

  • @Rick6315 Fuckkk off.

  • @Codestuh so the answer is stupid-now we all know

  • @Rick6315 Just not sure what I said in the first place that made me come off as young/stupid. I was just defending the band.

  • @Rick6315

So because he didn't watch a movie and remember a quote from that movie then he's stupid? Seriously I have watched American Graffiti and didn't remember that particular quote, I would've said something to you too.

  • @FoxForever90 "OUCH"

  • @Codestuh Well thats music of the bloody 70's and 80's which is well after this and good music (not like this song) is rock & roll that kind of music is rock not rock & roll it's like all loud and heavey metal shit!

  • @mattyhitch1980 both you and asshole Rick6315 are wrong. The Beach Boys played ROCK/Surf ROCK. Yes that was ROCK in the 60's. AND ur also totally wrong about HARD ROCK and HEAVY METAL being shitt. Learn your lessons before you open your ASS. Idiot.

  • @predatorhimself another asshole statement from an uneducated idiot. What are you bitchin about anyway?

  • @predatorhimself That's a good point, a lot of people don't know what the term "rock and roll" covered in the 1954-1966 time period. It included what we know as rock and roll, surf music, doo wop, and even poppy stuff like Leslie Gore and The Cascades. "Pop music" was the stuff the parents listened to like Frank Sinatra, Peggy Lee, Mel Torme, Dean Martin, and Perry Como. Some like Connis Francis, Bobby Darin, and Elvis were crossovers who made both rock and roll and pop.

  • @mattyhitch1980 "COOL QUOTE"

  • Are any of Dennis sons involved in the music industry

  • im very sad...

  • I go to high school, like an every day teenager these days, what separates me from the crowd is the great taste in music I have which has brought me here.

  • @TheChiiMotosuwa : Totes mate. But don't act like you're revolutionary, now. Because, every single oldie on youtube has these comments. ALL OF THEM.

But yes, it's very good that you like good music. Bravo.

  • @TheDiddlysquat Does the 1977 debut of Sean Cassidy (David Cassidy's brother) count? He covered "Da Doo Ron Ron" from 1963 on it and had a photo of JFK on the cover. Or what about John Lennon's 1975 "Rock 'n Roll" album? Or Back To The Future from 1985? LOL

  • Honestly... what the hell were they doing making a period piece set in 1962, in 1973? And Grease took place in 1959... the famous movie was made in 1978, but the script was written for a 1971/1972 play

  • Nothing in the 21st century will ever be as good as the stuff back in the 60s and early 70s... The Beach Boys, The Beatles, and the Rolling Stones are above Godly in my eyes.

  • did the dream die or what, did it turn into a nightmare? i never lived in those times, but listening to the music, seems like a lost golden age. people will look back on music like this, 100 years from now and say, this was the lost golden age. this is when we were at our prime, our peak, for it's it shortcomings, and after the 60s and the 70s it was all down hill, especially in the last decade, it's really going down hill now, are we fucked?

  • is it just me or, did america die somewhere along the way, where the hell did america go, it's all over... so what's next??? can america come back, if not, what, if anything, will replace it? sorry for the questions, i can't help it, i think, it's who i am. to me, beach boy song are pretty much america and, that youthful exhuberance, that positivty, enthusias, fun and freedom, it's all gone now, neh?

  • who's here for duke nukem??!?!?!?!

  • This knocks rap and screamo into the dirt. Crappy music compared to this.

  • thumbs up if u actually surf

  • I was born in 62, love those American Graffiti posters in your vid, They are Bitchin'

  • This is music, not this earth shaking screaming we have today.

  • sick!!!!

  • What many-voiced singing! They were the first in rock'n'roll to use it!

  • hmm where was i in 62' well my parrents probably not even thinking of kids nore were they together damn it why wasnt i born earlier like the 40's so i could live through the 50's and 60's? instead of 94 and we know how crappy it is now lol by the time i can cruise, the world going to end (if you think that, i dont)

  • lets see...in 1962, i was hangin out with my boyfriend. blasting the radio in his chevy impala muscle car and hangin out in a place they called the Pits! We would all get together and run those cars! Fun, Fun, Fun!

  • @horsenaround back in 62 i was running my 57 bel air

  • @22placid Yeah, back when gas was only 26 cents a gallon, we could afford those cars! a brand new car could be had for around 2000.00, too!

  • @horsenaround Till Daddy took the T-Bird away!

  • Q- Where were you in 62?

  • @vengerwenger My favorite part too.

  • great song

    the 60's will always live!

    thanks for the post

  • This is great. We need more SKA music (not saying this is SKA.. I'm not really sure) getting tired of all the dreary songs about broken hearts and dark, sad rock/metal singing about sad and angry emotions.

  • @MusicIsMyLife20115 Oh my god I thought I was the only person who listened to ska and good classic rock! I totally agree, Do you like Big D and the Kids Table?

  • the old times :(

  • i did a cover of this song in my guitar class

  • Pretty good . . . . as always !

  • What? I tried to upload this song, and y0utube deleted it because all of the copyright holders agreed.

  • This song makes me dance

  • wow......can i do something else.

  • "rock and roll's been going downhill ever since buddy holly died" - John Milner

  • @mlleprufrock " laisse !! les BEACH BOYS c'est formid ......" - Carol

  • @mlleprufrock That's not entirely true. The Beatles obviously were the best Rock N' Roll according to most People in the world. And then bands like Rolling stones , Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin(even though more metal). But I still agree, Rock N' roll is basically gone. Now it's hip hop, rap, and pop.

ALTHOUGH. A lot of kids sstill listen to bands like the beatles and Beach Boys.

  • @AfroGangsta10 That's a quote from the film American Graffiti, not my personal view...Check out the movie and you'll hear this and many other songs on the soundtrack.

  • @mlleprufrock Here's another quote from American Graffiti... "Don't you think the Beach Boys are boss?"

  • @fab4fan4ever64 "You would, you grungey little tweerp!"

  • @Ratticis Hello to a fellow Beach Boys and American Graffiti fan !! Have an excellent weekend !!

  • @fab4fan4ever64 Thanks and you too

  • @Ratticis Grungey,?You Big Weenie!

  • @fab4fan4ever64 Oh yeah,They ARE Boss!

  • @fab4fan4ever64 she said 'boss"? I thought she sad "bitchin", but it is the early 60s. god I'm dumb

  • @Struckworld You're not dumb. You're 14. Watch the movie again.... It's more important for you to agree that the Beach Boys are Boss than to be able to quote the movie. BTW, Your channel is awesome !! Have an excellent week !! I'm gonna watch the movie again, too !!

  • @fab4fan4ever64 I re-watched it last night, I got mixed up. Carol makes Milner say "I was a Dirty Bird, and Carol is bitchin."

  • @Struckworld ''turn that surfin shit off. musics been going down hill ever since buddy holly died'' lol

  • Hell yeh !! haha

  • @mlleprufrock I think the Beatles would have something to say about that.

  • @Amazingsound That's a quote from a movie to be understood in the context of the movie...not meant to be taken seriously. :) Cheers.

  • @mlleprufrock please don't say crap, the Beatles were greater than Buddy Holly, and so were the Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, Creedence, Led Zeppelin, The Ramones and many more bands.

  • @vagoperezoso i'm kind of shocked that so many people take this quote seriously. this is a quote from the film "american graffiti" which is shown above, spoken by a character in the film

  • @mlleprufrock that all personal taste bro

  • Whats the color of your car ? A cross between piss yellow and puke green aint it ? haha

  • @mlleprufrock it came back up a little bit when the Beatles came along, but i still agree with you, after Buddy Holly, it was really only the Beatles and Stones....i love aerosmith and van halen though and billy joel though

  • @TheBeatlesJPGR53 This is actually a comment from the movie "American Graffiti". It is funnier in the context of the movie...

  • @mlleprufrock Yeah, who the hell would want to listen to Jimi Hendrix, Peter Green, Eric Clapton, Steve Winwood, Janis Joplin, Cream, Traffic, Blind Faith, the Kinks, the Sex Pistols or the Beach Boys. The comment belongs to NOW, not post-Holly.

  • @phddddd hey cant we all get along and agree tht the fifties sixties seventies and eighties were ALL great musical eras?

  • @oldsoul4475 80s? You go too far! Rock 'n roll died at the Winterland Ballroom, January 14, 1978. It was the year Eve, Usher, Mya, and the all the crap that was to come down the road were born and the last concert of S.P.O.T.

  • @phddddd i agree to a point, but i like def leppard and twisted sister, and they were eighties groups.

  • @oldsoul4475 We can get along, now.

  • @phddddd good...

  • @phddddd hey, this is a quote from the movie "American Graffiti", not a personal opinion. It is funny if you see the movie and the character who speaks this line.

  • yay! surfing in Peru!

  • dont ever wish you were something you're not.never know what you'll get duke3231

  • @smokeyhaze1000 he'll probably get hosed and will have to walk all the way to the back of the bus
