The 45 is a smaller diameter. other than that they are the same. One is not better then the other.

i personally use a 45mm gold titanium x-pole. they are easier to grip since they are slightly smaller. it just depends on what you prefer. but if you're grip isnt as strong then id go with the 45mm for sure.

Hi Veena! I've just started pole dancing this year in January. I know you've mentioned you have 4 kids...how do stay in such great shape? It doesn't even look like you've had any children. I have 2 of my own and my youngest is 15 months. My core is still very week, making some of the moves very difficult. Can I ask you a question about pole & pregnancy - I' just a beginner but was going to buy one but found out I'm pregnant, so now I think maybe I shouldn't. Wjat's your advice re dancing while you're pregnant? Until when can you go on the pole, and when would you start cutting out which kinds of moves?

If your a beginner DON'T continue to pole dance!!!! Injuries are very common for beginners. You could still enjoy dancing around the pole but spins and inverting shouldn't be done if your just starting out in this form of exercise.

Well, I started a year ago but had to rely on sessions at the gym, and the instructors were so unreliable I never got very far, technically.

I'm only one month into the pregnancy - but you're saying to stop all technical moves now? Eight months of linking moves?!

I haven't seen you dance so I can't tell you what you should do....you had said you were a beginner...stick with the moves you know and don't attempt to learn new moves. I stopped inverting at 4 months and had to adjust some spins in the last trimester. But honestly I didn't pole hardly at all in the last 5 months of my pregnancy. I made a few vids and that was it. We had moved and I didn't have time. Listen to your body and talk with your dr or midwife.

After having my last baby.. I started off with 2 weeks of strength training before I began pole dancing too much. So with the exception of those 2 weeks its all from pole dancing. The best work out EVER! I plan on adding some weight training to my routine soon though.

Ok so the fact that everyone whats me to keep my hair long just makes me want to cut it even more!!! LOL Its terribly hard ot maintain...Its naturally curly/frizzy so I have to straighten it to make it look nice and its too time consuming. All I ever do with it is put it in a ponytail....which doesn't make me feel sexy at all. Its also thick and I don't have the time to wash it with my busy life style. The long hair just doesn't feel like me :-(

Veena, that was wonderful! You've got that direct invert to Superman from the shoulder mount down perfectly--it's an impressive move. But my ABSOLUTE favorite move was at 1:22 , where you linked two characters in mythology "Cupid" and "Eros" in the art of your dance. BRILLIANT!! ..and I watched that "swing down" transition over and over--what a move! The crescent to the move at 2:26 , which I can only describe as a "reverse gemini" was another jaw dropping move.
