About HID VS Halogen... what if i don't have money(i'm a student) for aftermarket headlights??? i have an mk3 Golf 1995 single cam ehadlights model should i just install a cheap(chinese) HID without having projectors in headlight and then trying to adjust the lights??? please answer somebody..
@golf1diesel Hey, I know this is old but in case you're still looking for an answer I'll answer this for you. I own a pair of 55W 4500K hid from DDM tuning *great company* and I have them in a 2001 Honda accord that has reflector housing. Depending on your vehicle the beam will scatter a bit so YES, you can just adjust the lights. I live in Dallas, Texas and in the last 3 years no one has flashed me nor have I gotten pulled over for my HID, I've even passed state inspection. Just adjust them :)
@PKhong972 well i went with the Philips xtreme power bulbs, low beam could be better but high beam is very nice, anyway clear an improvement from the stock old bulbs, thanks for your reply btw. These bulbs are 2 year old and still go on,we'll see how much they last :)
@golf1diesel Hey man, great choice. one thing I've failed to mention is that almost any plug and play HID kits excluding high end philips and etc. Will only last about a year or roughly 1000 hours until they start becoming dim. I'm thinking of switching back to high end halogen bulbs myself due to the high reliability but I'm glad you took a leap and went with the philips, i'm sick and tired of seeing cheap blue hid's on riced out cars.
@PKhong972 yes i hate them too, especially that they dont adjust their headlights cause i always get blinded because of their stupid " high sky "-lightening hids, btw nice flashes from Xtreme Power, really strong compared to standard bulbs
allora cambia stazioneee!! Li ho trovato a 28€ spediti
