im a 19 year old male and I actually really like twilight and I have seen my fair share of vamp films. I think its good cos its a whole new take on vamp they take it down a romantic genre rather than horror and they really push the limits as far as they can in terms of what they think vampires are. I think the truth is most vampire fans are put off by all the little girls who like it, Edward Cullen and the fact that most vamp fans like action not romance I don't know reply back please

I've seen plenty of clips of the horrid acting and writing. It is well known how bad those movies are. I can't wait for breaking dawn because that plot is so fucked up it will show just how stupid the whole series is!

@wwsangus Twilight isn't a new take on vamp. Those are NOT vampires or werewolves, by any definition. The 'vampires' are more like Fey than anything in those films. If you want a 'different' take on Vampires, go watch a 1985 film named 'lifeforce'. It has a hell of a dark romantic hammer horror twist, and the vamps in it are anything but wussified.

ben, i agree the movie wasn't that great... only because if you read all the books which i have and must I say they are addictive to put it mildly... they missed so much out in the movie. If you read the books you get a better understand of the characters and it's not all so bam they fall in love can't live without each other in the book it's alot slower and therefore makes more sense.

hmmm. okay list. i hated 30 days of night, van helsing was okay. i didn't mind twilight though, it was filmed down the road from my house :) kinda biased but whatev. i love from dusk till dawn! my faves in no order: dusk till dawn, blade, underworld, fright night, night watch, salem's lot, monster squad, interview with the vampire.
