My first suggestion is that we gather in Dublin every anniversary of his death and spreading outward from Merrion Row and O'Donaghue's, we listen to serious amounts of his music, drink a little, (responsibly of course) then swop our favourite stories of what he meant to us all as individuals. There could be other venues at the same time, (all suggestion appreciated.)

Lol. I may be wrong but it feels like after all these years, Bono is trying to have himself considered a part of Irish music in a non pop-bullshite way. Almost as if he is bowing down to the others saying "accept me please". Better late than never I guess. It is Sinead, Shane, Damo and the Dubliners, etc that i care about here. Shane ending it out was the perfect kick for the soul. If Shane had written the lyrics for the song, that would've improved it much but no complaining to such a gesture as was made for Ronnie anyway. :-)
