The CD version is my favorite song on the album. It has that whole Supertramp vibe going on. This version rocks, but since almost all of their songs rock, this version lacks the unique melodic quality of the studio version.

It also sounds like "Keep Yourself Alive" intro by Queen. I got the Cream reference and expected this song to be a harder song than most Wolfmother songs as Ulyses was a heavy song-at least live. Some musicians get inspiration from others, and put a twist on it. That's what the majority of Zeppelin's songs are, but it's still good, and not outright stealing, I'll listen to if if it's good Wolfmother could have called it "Violence of the Universe" and you wouldn't have got the reference.
