I'm not for pageants. I'm not for forcing anyone into activities they don't want to do. You should teach your kids to try things but they should be allowed to quit the minute they hate it. You should not spend a minute doing something that makes you unhappy in life. ESPECIALLY at this age! This girl seems like she wants to do some stuff. Which is fine, let her sing let her dress up but don't make her beauty important, make creating something beautiful important.

Ok what about all the parents forcing their children into sports like football or soccer where they risk getting permanently disabled? Dad's forcing their sons to do sports is just as bad as mother's forcing their daughters to do pageants. The world is sexist and no one ever questions that. Beauty pageants are at the heart innocent. It is the adults who force our adult like ideas on the children. For God's sake they are just playing dress up in the mother's clothes. I support beauty pageants.
