Ledisi is one of those female artists that you haven't heard in the last 10 years. Her voice is controlled with so much power and feeling that you cannot help but like her sound. She is surprising me with each album. I am glad she has worked with Raphael Saadiq because he has a musical ear for soul/r&b music. Ledisi's latest cd is filled with every style of r&b with agressive edges to it. Great cd. I recommend it to anyone who like real music.
