  • Can someone tell me when this song was popular?

I've always loved it, but it seemed to never last long enough on the radio.

    Thanks for posting, btw.

  • @67marlins March 7, 1992 is my guess of when it peaked at #19 on the R&B Chart, so early 1992 was when it was a modest hit on radio.

  • @TheGemini90 Thank you for the info, I appreciate it. I was going to guess the Autumn of one of those years, but that may have just been when my area's radio stations re-discovered it. Hard to believe this is almost 20 years old, though, happier and more peaceful times for sure. Thanks again.

  • @67marlins It was popular around 1988, as the theme song for the movie "Baby Boom" starring Diane Keaton. The version in the movie was sung by Siedah Garrett, who does a fine job, too.

  • @tvbabay Thank you for the info, although another person below answered me that it was on the R & B charts in March 1992. I'm sure you are both right, maybe it was just re-discovered and revived in 1992. I keep thinking the first time I heard this was in the Fall, my favorite time of year. Thank you again, great memories and beautiful songs for sure.....

  • @rdavids1000 I feel you on this one my mom had passed away on January 29th 1992 and I would sit in my room after and reflect how she changed into someone I did not recognize from the cancer and that was very hard for me and I know it must have been for you and I started to reflect on all the things I wanted to do with my mom.Life can be cruel but God has bigger plans for them and we have to let them go.

  • BIG TUNE

  • When Music was still sang from the heart to the heart not like nowadays where music is sang from the head and artists think about money!

  • TImes change but not this song, it is still the best.
