this is amazing. what kind of sponge do you use? i have tried doing the gradient with a make up sponge and it was a epic failure. and do the type of paint you use matter cause i was using nail polish, but i have been noticing it a lot of your videos you use acrylic paint. sorry to be a pain just trying to learn to save somemoney on going to the salon every 2 weeks

@chray815 I use a makeup sponge... I find it's easier to use when u only use a small piece, and also I use acrylic paint for the fading. ^_^

@chray815 Alot of times, its best to break the makeup sponge in half just so its not as compressed. It gives a better effect

@chray815 maybe you put too much nail polish on your sponge? try dabbing the excess off first on a piece of paper! hope this helps((:

well the problem im having is nothing is oming off on my nails. i tried brushing it on the sponge and puting some on paper to dap it in. im wondering if it the brand im using. my mom tried using one this morning to but her concealer on and it just soaked it all up and nothing went on here face. im gonna get different ones and try it.

@TheKidsGeneration6 Nope, it's fine. :) Plus, you would usually only use it over polish so it would never even have contact with your nails. ^_^
