Now....I am a lover of all things pipe organ, and you cannot be an organ nut like me and not have chills when you hear a thunderous 32' stop; however, as good as I think the voicing is on this 1/2 length pedal stop, it is a bit overpowering - at least in this organist's pedal registration. I think the balance of the instrument sounds rather noble, and the case and console are equally elegant. I just think the 32' reed is a bit too loud in this case. Saying that is almost sac-religious to me!

Amongst other wonderful things about this company (Peragallo), they voice the very best 1/2 length 32' reed in the business! The case and console of this organ are very beautiful indeed, and the sound is stunning as I'd expect from the rebuilders/curators of the grand Kilgen at St. Patrick's Cathedral, NYC. BRAVISSIMO!!!
