This is Real Piping in "Classical Pibroch Style and not all pipers are possessive of this art which is steeped in History and Tradition. An Pibroch AbU!!! Greets from Ireland. The finger movements are a treat to listen to.
i know Queen Vickie had good heart when she invented these modern kilts. but Traditional belted kilts are more cool!! and practical! a dozen places to put stuff. its also a tent! a blanket, a wind break, a stretcher. the belted kilt is a brilliant invention!

Its a real pleasure to walk on the countryside and find a piper.

It's a pity to have all that chatter going on.
Don't the French know any better ?

Yes, it was also boring me ! but, when it's free, people dont mind. For us, Bretons, its a sacred sound !

@PierreDHautporte most pipers themselves dislike pibroch so I don't blame anyone for talking.

Yes it was a great day !
Dubhglaspiobaire it isn't an annual event but every 2 years (I think).

This is the way pipes are meant to be heard -- in the open air!
I loved the vocal accompaniment to the last piobaireachd.
Is this an annual event?
