  • Awesome video :))) I love it haha if you have time can you please check out my california quail and the coop i made for them? :) BTW im also located in bc! (the okanagon) Thanks for the upload.

    Thumbs up =D

  • Talk about atmospheric drag... they resemble fluffy eggs with wings XD

  • @R5H4D0W Yup, they sure do. But California quail are pretty fast runners and fliers on short distances. They can run about 20 feet (6 meters) in one second and fly at speeds of more than 50 miles (80 kilometers) per hour. Not bad for a two legged bowling ball!

  • @RainshadowCoast , cool wonder if they make good pets.

  • @ChuckWillsWidows if you have a ranch, sure...or an outdoor aviary, they cannot be caged in the sense of parakeets...

  • @R5H4D0W , many thanks.

  • 0:29 Male Quail: Hey, hot chicks! *approaches them* Female Quails: Get lost. *one gets up and walks away*

  • @Liuhuayue Some behaviours seem to be true in all species!

  • @RainshadowCoast

The partner that invests more in the reproduction is always the most difficult to conquer. :)

  • nice and plump, would make a tasty meal.

  • They are so beautiful and funny at the same time can you find them in southern California too?

  • @planetchinchilla Hi planetchinchilla. The California Quail is common in coastal chaparral-type habitats. They extend from Vancouver island and other parts of BC to the very bottom of of the Baja peninsula. So yes, they like most of California, everything north of it, and a few places in Arizona.

  • Thank you...that was wonderful! And thank you for not playing music!
