great video my god i love the outdoor atmosphere, especially when the sun is going down, listening to roger waters! nothing better in this world musically then that!
Wow.. I just stumbled across this. I was there, lying on a blanket to the right with friends and this brought it all back to me. What an incredible week, and to have it topped off with this show? Amazing. Thanks for that.
This is why I absolutely hate outdoor festivel type shows - the audience never knows how to just shut the fuck up. No class. At least most indoor arenas have ushers who work rounds for audiene members who disturb others. Places like this, half of the people here couldn't name which artist is playing.
Seriously what can be more important than the magic that is being created..........those assholes have no respect to the AWESOME sound that is PINK FLOYD!!!!
You idiot! I was there, and the vibe was awesome!! What kind of vibe would you get, if people were just standing there - silent and no dancing or swaying??? No vibe at all! It gives me a grand feeeling, looking at the other listeners (as the joints are passed from hand to hand ;-D), and seeing that they all feel like I do - they all have goosepumps, they are all in awe, they are all flying. Everyone was there to hear Roger and everyone knew the lyrics.
waters is the better pink floyd alround... i would never go watch gilmour inless roger is there... roger is far best /guitar/singer/writer end of all.
Awesome video, just saw him in Chicago! For those Gilmour lovers that have written, I agree, Gilmour is the beauty behind Floyd, but Roger is the sword! :-)
Oh please, where did you get that information donsalvitory? And Pink Floyd would have been NOWHERE without Roger's incredible lyrics. Pink Floyd without Waters kind of sucked in case you didn't notice... just listen to Division Bell and Momentary Lapse of Reason.
shut up roger couldnt even play bass gilmour had to do all the bass parts when they recorded gilmour is the king plus his solo albums are better than rogers
The only recording I know of that Gilmour played bass on while Roger was still with the band is the version of Money on A Collection of Great Dance Songs or w/e that album was called where Gilmour played almost every instrument in the song. If you're thinking of the interview of Roger in 2005 w/ Rolling Stone Magazine, he just said that Gilmour criticized Roger's bass playing, but it never said he played on anything instead of Roger.
Thank you! :)

Give me a break, DB and AMLoR are excellent albums, and 'On the Turning Away', 'Sorrow' and 'High Hopes' are one of the best PF songs ever.

Pink Floyd is one of the greatest contributors to music history and I think their music will last for many generations to come.
