This soy crap does NOT work on lead base oil based paint. I have an old house 1890 and the doors are painted white. I wanted to strip to the wood. I slopped on Soy Gel thick as stated on the gal. jug. It took off only the white latex paint off it bubbled up and it was left on for 6 hours. and over night. I scrapped off the latex and below was un touched cream paint that was not touched. I globbed on more Gel 12 hours later nothing the Gel turned yellow and just puddled did NOT remove the paint.
