I just start to learn ASL recently, am hard of hearing. I can sign some simple words now. I joined a great deaf daing site, ----Deafornot dot c om----, and met some good deaf/HOH friends over there. They help me to learn ASL.
A person who embraces ASL as their primary language will be considered a member of the Deaf community. I find many deaf friends on a Deaf dating site ----Deafornot dot c om---- Good luck to them!!!

It looks like she already know that song in sign language...she had to have practiced that before. She is right on target with her signing the word as the singer is singing it. She is very good.
This is fantastic to see. I do feel sorry for the people in the audience who despise the Black Eye Peas but couldn't let their caregivers know. Seems like torture to me.

Deaf people... at a Musical concert... looking at a translator to understand lyrics...
I know you don't need working ears to enjoy yourself... but this?! I'm fairly sure that a note sheet with lyrics will do a better job at conveying the overall feel of the beat/music...
Fantastic! A really spirited and life-affirming performance. You go girl! I don't know sign language but it's easy to see that she must "sound" great to those that can.
good interpreter!! too bad we dont have that many like her. she sure know how to act along with the sign, too. it isn't often you can find interpreters with that kind of skills. PROPS!

The peas should take her on tour, and put her on the big screen. She is badass.
23firestorm 1 year ago
Wonderful! She got in the spirit and I'm sure that a big part of ASL is conveying the emotion of the words, not just the words themselves.
