But honestly I think Diego only changed because Mia was Murdered, and because of this trauma Diego, or as we now no him as Godot, could've been shocked so maybe that's why he changed (spoiler alert) and blamed Mia's murder on Phoenix. plus, I DESPISE, HATE, COMTEMPT REDD WHITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think I know why Godot has the need to drink so much coffee.

The reason for his life getting ruined was because he got poisoned and set into a come, sleeping for a very long time. During this time, his loved one dies without him being able to do anything. The caffeine in the coffee resembles his sorrow and anxiety of what he couldn't do because of sleep. It's kind of a way to relieve him of the fear of falling in sleep again.
