I played Resident Evil 5 and when I watched the 4th movie and they referenced the game in scenes I was just like..... ME GUSTA. But in my opinion when Wesker saw the bomb at the end he should have been like "Damn You!" I would have lmao. (RE5 battle with Wesker in volcano. When you damage him enough he jumps away and goes after your partner but after an awkward amount of time passes he gets mad at you for hurting him and says "Damn You!"
this trailer was filmed in 97... cut them some freaking slack, and if you knew george romeros style, this trailer wouldn't surprise you. @1shoryuken the depressing part is...George A. Romero was supposed to be the director from the very beginning...but since Paul W.S. Anderson didn't like his script, he basically made sure Romero would not be involved.
(YET...Resident Evil series was completely inspired by "The Dead" series which Romero created).
Also since Romero would only make an R.E. film that he wrote himself (since he is an artist), he didn't want to follow someone else's vision.

Finally Resi fans who feels like me. And the movies are shit. Where are the classical soundtracks? Where are the monsters? Why the most dangerous enemy in the first part has to be a child called red queen? Why the tyrant (is it a tyrant???) in Extinction has to talk and use magic? Why Nemesis loose against miss jovovich? And why the hell nobody stopped that Anderson?
The best medicine: playing Shinji Mikamis Masterpieces and that is what I will do..

as far as i know, the story in Romero script was not similar to the games storyline, but i might be wrong but there's never not enough gore in a zombie movie, but again that's me too...

i read Romero's script. It was pretty good and was way better than anderson's shitty movies with that dumb ass superwoman alice. There were a few changes he made that i didn't like though, like making jill and chris lovers and chris being native american and not being part of stars, barry being black man. Some of the changes were bad but the movies would have been sooo much better if they us Romero's. What were they thinking wen they scrapped his and chose the crap they put out?!
The other trailer for RE2 he made was actually quite good, but this is garbage. It's confusing, the camera can't decide where it's going and the simple music combined with the stock scream from Claire just took away all the fright factor from it.
I really, really hope you're joking. Romero is fucking awful, the only good movie he EVER had any involvement in was the Dawn of the Dead remake in 2004. All of his zombie movies are just fucking awful. He WOULD be amazing if he would a) Learn how to write a story b) Learn how to write dialogue c) Use some decent cameras d) Get a clue about zombie stories. Yes, the lack of Barry was sad... I really could have used a Jill Sandwich when I was watching. I actually saw the Romero teasers before the "RE" movie was released, and prayed it would be something like this ^. I turned to alcohol to cope.

But once I saw the adverts for #2, I nearly flipped, I was so excited. I saw Jill, and what looked like Carlos, and various Umbrella-related things. I thought, "ALRIGHT! Now we're talking!" The fight scene was..... Derpy. And the "realization" had by a seemingly conscious Tyrant? WAT?

Why the most dangerous enemy in the first part has to be a child called red queen? Why the tyrant (is it a tyrant???) in Extinction has to talk and use magic? Why Nemesis loose against miss jovovich? And why the hell nobody stopped that Anderson?

Hell yes to that! Why couldn't they have used the George Romero script instead? It was both infinitely better than the Paul Anderson one, but it was also VERY much like the original game's story. #1 over the top? the only action scene in a RE that was out of place was the Code Veronica opening, and that opening is basically the RE Movies (Check out that slow motion! WHOOOOAAAAAAAAAAHHH)
#2 what do you think l mean, the character development is fucking dreadful, every character in thoes movies is a two diamensional, paper thin chain-smoker. Jill, Claire, Carlos... all of them are basically the same character.

romero making resident evil is real chemistry, the first resident evil was meant to be for horror and survival ad give thrill rides to its gamers, if romero would have directed he would have done exactly that to both gamers and moviegoers, the first movie was ok but i like RE2 movie better it had more of RE than the rest of trilogy. i read Romero's script. It was pretty good and was way better than anderson's shitty movies with that dumb ass superwoman alice. There were a few changes he made that i didn't like though, like making jill and chris lovers and chris being native american and not being part of stars, barry being black man. Some of the changes were bad but the movies would have been sooo much better if they us Romero's. What were they thinking wen they scrapped his and chose the crap they put out?!

The other trailer for RE2 he made was actually quite good, but this is garbage. It's confusing, the camera can't decide where it's going and the simple music combined with the stock scream from Claire just took away all the fright factor from it.

I really, really hope you're joking. Romero is fucking awful, the only good movie he EVER had any involvement in was the Dawn of the Dead remake in 2004. All of his zombie movies are just fucking awful. He WOULD be amazing if he would a) Learn how to write a story b) Learn how to write dialogue c) Use some decent cameras d) Get a clue about zombie stories. If George Romero had any involvement with Resident Evil it would be a godawful fucking laughing stock as is his film career.

Romero wasn't involved in any of the remakes, except Night of the Living dead.
And I personally think that Romero has made a few good movies,

@fellowship91 same, i liked EVERYTHING he did so far, from Night of the Living Dead to Land of the Dead (imo) ***Dawn of the Dead being my fav***...but Diary of the Dead and Survival of the Dead never seemed fascinating, but...i do want to check them out, even if they suck, Romero is still a legend, still the king of Zombies.
(and a shame they didnt accept his script for Resident Evil, they should have been proud to work with the man who INSPIRED R.E. to begin with...fuck Paul W.S. Anderson).
