Yeah well no I can't remember what run that way, we had like 5 runs together. I am having some serious traction issues and 3rd gear problem so yeah I haven't been running good. I think the run in this vid was a pretty bad for one for me so we were prety close but I think I still took the stripe
Thanks! I try to take care of it. Incredibly hard car to find back then (and still now) surprisingly, an 04 GT black/black leather, 5spd, 1 owner, low miles. Too bad I didn't wait till nowadays because for the amount I paid I could have gotten an 01 cobra or even a terminator cobra for a slight bit more.
I Own that V6 he was racing, our Sixxers are not putting that much less Hp out than the 99-04 gt's, i beleive that day he got me by .2 at most, i've ran a 9.4 once and a consistant 9.6-9.7 on street radials 20' rims, working on getting some e.t. streets slapped on my 17x9's and me and him will run again =)
how much more hp does the 4.0 have over a 3.8? i have a 3.8 and i run the same times as you and i have quite a bit more than just an intake and exhaust lol. nice sixxer man. i run for 1/4 mile times but i got 9.4x 1/8 at 79.xx mph
Don't underestimate a modded 4.0. They are pretty fast and quick off the line.

If I remember right it doesn't have too much. It's got a flowmaster dual exhaust set up, lowering springs, 20" racing rims and a K&N.

Well Bone Stock the 4.0's have 210hp 240tq @ the Crank, like i said with just an Intake/Exhaust setup i've Dyno'd @ 200rwhp 233 rwtq

@turtleslow The new edge mustang is quite a bit lighter which may make up for any less power.

the 4.0s respond to mods very well! even an intake/exhaust/tune really wakes up this car. get a posi rear end and 3.73s and it will be a monster
