  • First of all I want to express my deepest appreciation to CBC for this timetly documentary. A great thank you with the hope that Canadian and international viewers will also be shown an in-depth investigation about the "business" of toxic waste. Secondly I want to tell the World -the somalis are not pirates, they're innocent fisherman who are trying to defend its territorial waters. Somal needs a functioning, effective government that will get its act together and take control of its affairs

  • The background sounds are coming though for me - but not the voices - I can only tell people are talking - but not what they are saying.

Still - I do know there are reasons the Somali pirates do what they do. And, I agree those wrongs should be made clear and redressed where possible. But that does not stop me from wanting this situation to end - and end with the American Captain coming home alive, however that happens.

  • This is the first westren media i had ever seen talking about thye truth about 21 century piracy?

  • its because cbc is mostly unbiased when reporting, its actually the only news station i can watch because i dont feel like im gettting the true story anywhere else.
