@phin3s I have an old '84 F-150 4X4 with a 300 I6, granny low 4spd that has 425,000-miles on it, and it damn near keeps up with my modded Jeep XJ. I have made a lot of new Chevys 4X4s look stupid with it! it does 0-60 in a day, but will climb anything and pull down a mountain doing it!

@redbull9679 You are correct. He may have also had the rear axle welded which can make a huge difference.
