  • Im using this same method, I would suggest adding some cover to the bulbs (white fabric) to spread lighting and minimize shadows, also some brighter bulbs. I need to go shopping myself for some additional light stands :P

  • gooooooooood

  • You need to learn more about exposure and white balance, but nice use of common items.

  • What bulbs did u use?

  • the ones you see on the video (3 bulbs) plus a bit photoshop.

  • i have the same chair from IKEA

  • that was very wonderful I think I'll copy it sometime

  • Yafe me'od! Maybe you can help me - I need to photograph many, many different fabrics of various colors. These are generally 20cmx20cm pieces and we're trying to design a little studio in the office by which to take these close-up images. They need to be shadowless and as true to real color as possible. We have studio lights but as far as positioning, background, etc. I'm in the dark. Ata yachol la'azor li? :)

    Toda, Tali

  • i really adore this idea keep going !

  • Very nice. Thank you! :)

  • MYST sound track! Tut! tut!

  • How did you eliminate the original shadow that was cast by the bottle? How did you get the different pics to morph into one another? I'm so new

  • first of all you should use RAW files when you take photos of this kind so you can play with the values of exposure and all that stuff, this way you can eliminate shadows without messing up the entire image.

if i understood the question right, the morph pics are result of a movie editor called 'Corel VideoStudio'.

  • ohh Myst soundtrack!

  • Great use of low end equipment to get a really impressive result. Thanx !

  • lol Bira Maccabi :) מאיפה אתה?

  • very nice, what is that for a type of paper ? a normal ?

  • simple white cardboard

  • So niceeeee!!

  • poor

  • lovely....thanks!

  • First of all i hope you calibrate your camera so you get the best white you need.

Second, the adjustment done at the end are minor, color temperature play and some sharpening.

  • @Otaides יפה מאוד! עבודה פשוטה ונקייה.. רק שכחת לציין באיזו מצלמה ועדשה השתמשת...ותודה על השיתוף!

  • Nikon D70s

    Nikkor 18-70 f3.5

  • thanks for posting!

i have been trying similar things but am having trouble

    getting true neutral white.

What were the adjustments you showed at the end ?

  • surround your subject with a white box or put it in a white tent

    ...it'd work as reflectors.

  • This was amazing! Helps me so much! Thank you!

  • Yes, it was white paper, but after couple of times i used it it got scratched and i throw it away.

  • good looking stuff =) what was the white background you used? paper, fabric or what? =)

  • you are wrong, the bottle is in focus.
