  • man that intro just made me want to be there.... never been but who wants to? THIS GUY!

  • I was part of the 82nd Airborne for D-Day 2010. Best. Paintball. Experience. Ever. It does cost several hundred dollars by the end of the week, but I had the advantage of being close enough to drive there. It is AWESOME, definitely go if you can.

  • I keep trying to convince my parents to move to Oklahoma so I can do this every weekend

  • @giterdone246 every weekend? happens once a year bro

  • 101st Airborne!!! loved dday 2010

  • str hallewood

    chariley team

  • First time this year, and cant wait to storm the beach. 1ST ID!!

  • @SGTWWIIFREAK same cant wait to eat lunch on the top!!!

  • first time going im in the 238th engineers part of the Big Red One its gonna be sick

  • I would love to go there one day. Shame I live all the way in england. But me and my dad are thinking of going to the USA in a few years. I'm thinking this is one of the things I have to do when in the USA.

Do you have to be in a unit to play or can you join one when your there or go solo? Plus can you buy or hire and marker when your there? It might be a bit hard to get through the airport.

  • @Bugboy439 You can rent if your early enough. And yes when you register you choose which unit you want to go to. Going solo wouldnt be the greatest idea against 2000 Allies or Axis. Great unit to be in would be the 916th KMI or 352nd or 715th. Depends if you wanna defend Omaha, Sword, or Utah. You can also join Special Units.

  • @JcM944 Thanks mate

  • Hopefully im going to get to shoot you guys coming on to the beach this year :)

  • I'm not a paintballer im a airsofter myself but that looks awesome!

  • so glad i live in Oklahoma

  • me too SASKABUSH LETS CAR POOL LOL

  • i hope i can go in 2010 it looks awsome!!!!!!

  • well maybe in a couple years i can make to this event, i live all the way up in canada and would be quite expensive for me to go, hopefully i nthe future though

  • ya me too, in montreal. Id love to go here one year

  • Me too ontario.

  • they have one in VA happening on sunday and im going. 15$ per person seems worth it because it cost that much per normal day anyway too

  • In other videos of mine, people from Canada have said the same things :)

There are convoys that head out from Canada to Oklahoma D-Day every year, infact the most out of country players at OK D-Day are Canadian. There are Canadian units at D-Day too.

We have people come from the UK, a group from Austrailia last year, and I even had a guy from New Zealand in my squad in 2007. Sweden, Russia, but obviously a lot less from there :)

  • lol, im near Montreal, and i wanna go to this event too someday...looks intense!

  • The best paintball I've ever played! Nothing like this is in the world.

  • yeah me and my friend are from New-Brunswick, and we just wish we could get there were all WW2 fans.

  • @Mileneum69 I live in Kansas. Looking back like three years ago i never would have thought OK DDay was anything more than a comforting dream.....but then I found out that my close friend went and just like that I'm going for the first time this year. SO excited

  • @LakeMonsterToMo Lucky you.....i still wish i had enough money to go.

  • @Mileneum69 hey when everything is said and done the total price of the trip for me will be around 300$ plus the cost of new paintball gear. I got a Job, and I made it happen. I'm sure you could make it someday! I wish ya good luck though haha

  • @LakeMonsterToMo Hahaha yeah well traval expenses to go to Oklahoma D-day for me would be in the 1000s not 100s so yeah luck you!! lmao. And to stay for the whole week also. yeah 300 bucks is not realistic for me.

  • @Mileneum69 ahhhhhhhh what a bummer

  • @LakeMonsterToMo I know :( but....someday!

  • ok thanx, man people must have spent a fortune on paint for tht week:P

  • I didn't at all. I still find it cheaper than my local fields which is odd, but I can't complain. All on what you want to do.

When you buy a case, they give you 4 paint tickets. Each is worth 500 rounds. I just buy a bunch of tickets, and get the paint when I need it. Go the paint distribuator and hand them how many tickets you want for that much paint you want. Take as you go.

  • u probably go through atleast 15000 balls that week though lol

  • I only bought two cases last year truth be told. That's just 4,000 but it was enough. Only the Armor (tanks) go through anywhere near that actually.

  • wowa lol i would prob use a case a day, as i do now. and i though i didnt shoot alot ... :P

  • As I said before, all depends on your playing style, everyone is slightly different on how they play. I only did two of the minis and missed the Civil War mini, so the rest was just for D-Day. Lots of variables.

  • thanx, but a couple more questions :P does the main event or game "invasion of normandy" last all week or just one day ? and are u aloud to bring ur own paint?

  • The Invasion of Normandy, the event's namesake (D-Day) is on Saturady June 13th, it is 8 hours long. There are mini scenarios during the week and alot of stuff to do. The Invasion of Normandy or D-Day is what draws all the crowds and attention. I show up early Wendesday morning of the week of Oklahoma D-Day.

    No, field paint only.

  • how much on average would u spend the whole week at this event? and are u aloud to bring your own paint?

  • All depends on your playing style, the paint is $65 a case and it is field paint only. 65 is not a bad price considering what other, smaller events charge for a case. These are well made, and new just for D-Day 2009 by a new brand this year.

  • fair price... through out the whole week how much cases would one go through, considering there and offensive player?

  • C02 and HPA refills are free, refill as many times as your heart desires. I went through 2 cases, which is not bad for me. Camping is only $5 for the entire week. All the big name vendors are there, plus some unique ones like Engler Customs. They all sell at discounted prices at D-Day.

It all depends if you play in all the minis, I only played in a few that I liked, then the big game (Invasion of Normanday). Nice then is that they issue 4paint tickets, each worth a bag of 500. Take as you go.

  • I am in the 1st ID. :)

  • Go Allies :D

  • i would love to do this but i dont have the mone to travel and stay for aweek

  • join germany, 716th baby

  • oh ya and when is it

  • June 8th to the 14th. Starts Monday, and the Invasion of Normandy is on the 13th the Saturday.

  • whats more fun to be the germans or the americans cause i really want to go and how old do you have to be and how much dose it cost

  • Well, it's hard to answer that!

I would be biased towards the Americans, you could talk to a German player and he would point you towards thier side. There is also the Commonwealth Army, made up of Brits, Canadians, Scots, and Americans.

The Allied Army mission is-Attack, Attack, Attack! We are on the offensive, we charge up the beaches and move inland. It's a uphill fight (literally). As long as your not younger than 8 or something of the like. It costs $70 to register.

  • im gonna join the big red one.

  • Nice, go over the Oklahama D-Day Forum and introduce yourself. Go talk to your CO's. They should square you aware. D-Day (The Invasion of Normandy) is only 91 days away!

  • I think I'm going to join the 352nd german infantry, is this a fun unit?

  • Well you sit in the trenches and try to repel the mighty 1st ID. You then pull out if the 1st takes the beach and defend Colleville, the largest city at D-Day. Your doctrine-Defend against the Allied Army.

I've never personally been in the unit, go talk to the Commander and fellow unit members of the Oklahoma D-Day Forum.

  • where is this?

  • Wyandotte, OK, right off the southern border of Missouri.

  • how far from table rock? i have fished the tannycomo right there. Im from minnesota.

  • Try Google Maps, it should give you a good estimate.

  • yes i am thinking of going to go to '09. what marker should i get? i was think abouta tippman X7. and i was also thinking about joing the 2nd armor. what should i look forward to?

  • nvm if i do go itll be with the 4th ID

  • Great to hear it! I am a officer in the 4th ID, and 2 D-Day vet. The most common marker I see are Tippmans, in particular the A-5. Any marker that is reliable, can take alot of wear and can beat up is the perfect marker for D-Day.

The 4th ID, and 2nd Armored land on Utah Beach, and the 1st lands on Omaha. 3rd British ID lands at Sword.

  • Thanks! i would also like to know if there are any leadership posiyions availble. i am 13 so i dont know if i could but would like to know thanks again!

  • I shot you a message, we can discuss whatever questions you have from there in more detail.

    Glad to hear your interested.

  • see you guys there, I'm thinking of signing up as either Rangers or 4th. GhostofRazgriz SpecialOps Paintball

  • Awesome, welcome to the 4th Infantry.

  • so i got on oaklahoma d-day's site... and from what the schedule looked like, during the week was the "training" and the actual game only lasted 2 days... am i reading this wrong?

if im not, is it possible to just go for the actual game?

  • Misinterpeted there. There are scenarios going on all week, however none of them even compare to the big game, the main thing that draws people to the event: D-Day.

The latest you can show for Special forces units is Wendesday. As a commander, we like to have our guys in camp no later than Thursday, since we're are infantry we don't need our guys by Wendesday. However we partake in the scenario's as a unit and it helps build Espirit de Corps. You come for just saturday, but I wouldn't at all.

  • Me and my guys r signing up on the 1st division wat beach are we landing on?

  • You land at Omaha beach, exactly what's in the video.

  • suks for u

  • Takes alot dogged determination, it is known as the paintball pit of hell. I had a blast taking that beach, after spending a hour and half on the bloody. It's a rightly proud bunch and good outfit. Not many can take the hill and then take the rest of thier objectives.

  • Oh yea now thats the way to play paintball... The guys at OKDDAY realy no how to do it... C u in 09...

  • See you there. Here's to a great game in 2009.

  • ima see if i can go and ill get some people question how much is it to play?

  • Pre-Registration is 70.00, paint is 65.00 dollars a case, 5.00 for camping all week. HPA/CO2 Refills are free all week, you can have yours refilled as many times as you want.

  • hey im really big intop world war 2 and paintball..could you tell me where they hold this d-day game?

  • They hold this game in Wyandotte, Oklahoma during June 8th-14th, the actual Invasion of Normandy is the 13th.

  • that look so fucking awesome

  • What age do u have to be to play, or is there no specific age limit to play at D-Day?

  • You have to be 10 or older. I'll double check but that is concise. I didn't have anyone younger than 13 in my company last year. The reason is that this envioment can be challenging to the avid sportsmen. They want a adult supervision at least so at least when they go to the dead zone they have a buddy or parent to go with them when reinserted.

  • Oh ok, thanks man i wanted to go out and play D-day but i didn;t know if i was old enough:)

  • No problem. Which side did you want to join?

  • Maybe the americans but if there's gonna be paint flying at me from all directions i might just want to fight as a german.

  • Actually the Germans get paint shot at them all day too. As soon as the beaches are take, it's their turn to counter attack and do what they want. Just because your in that trench doesn't mean your not going to get hit. When the large towns become the biggest battles, then you get paint flying at you in all directions regardless of the side.

  • i need to go there, but its a looooooooong trip from alberta

  • Well, I can vouch that it is WELL worth the trip!

We get alot of fellows from Canada, so you would be in good company. In fact they organize convoys right out of Canada. The option is open, but I can side with you that it's indeed a long journey!

  • yep. once we get our drivers licenses me and some of my buds will have to go down there and play.

  • we didnt have air for about 30 minutes and they didnt bring paintfor a while to

  • I heard of the shamble. A shame, but at least it will be fixed for 2009. Sometimes all you can do in dig in and well wait.

  • 300+ germans looking down at 10 americans

  • In actuality, in 2007 it was almost even for numbers. I heard this year you guys were outnumbered with limited supplies. Everyone needs one year in the paintball pit of hell.

  • sorry i was thinking of 08

  • it was fun, but horrible, very muddy, we lost:(

  • Yeah, but it's all about fun. In 2007, my marker and myself got stuck in the wetter mud, almost like a stream. I vainly tried to clean my barrel, for it was it stuffed with mud.

  • This is friggen amazing i would love to do this

  • it looks like fun but i have seen a more realistic one on a real beach lol

  • Ya, but here you still have limited cover, even with the foliage. In 2007 I had to crouch behind a bluff overlooking a rock and overgrowth. Even then I still got hit. The area that looks more like a real "beach" is at Utah Beach. Look up 4th ID in the search box. I am CPT in the 4th ID and can answer questions regarding the "beach". Then again, it's hard to find some nice coastline in Oklahoma, lol.

  • neee! wie hart!

  • awsome how do I sign up and how old do you have to be!

  • i feel so srry for the first guys set in the boat espically for the guys at the front they are going to be MOWED down by supresing fire

  • NOOOO you reinsert once youve been shot out.

  • Only if you are either of the Allied Beach units, after the beaches it becomes the 30 minute reinserts. I just got back from D-Day 2008, it was a blast.

  • when u get shot... are u out for the rest of the game???

  • no just for 30 minuetes

  • Nope, you got a dead zone and everyone (who is out) gets reinserted every half hour. For the Infantry on the Beaches; it's unique, ousted Allied Infantry go to another landing craft and once full, they come "ashore" again.

  • u have any other scenario games other than d-day in oklahoma

  • they have a red dawn game sometime in the fall and a black hawk down game in april

  • Yes, and alot of other events, non-paintball, great stuff to check out at thier website.

  • Good to hear from a fellow C company man. We gave em a fight didn't we. 1st ID C company ooorah

  • hooyah Charlie company rocked

cant wait to see you guys in 08!!!!

  • You hear of the "winfield boys"?

  • no sorry

  • It's cool just checkin.

  • are you guys goin this year

  • We really hope to. I am the only one that didn't go to the military. So it is gonna be really hard to get them all back at the same time.

  • yeah man i understand

    hope to see you there

  • Wow that looks fun! Though I would hate to be in the real D-Day...

  • Yeah I agree, just the amount paint just there was extremely intense, though nothing cna compare to the real D-Day.

  • it was fun

  • Thanks guys! I'm sorry I couldn't get this out eariler.

    WHO ARE WE!?

    1ST ID! GET SOME!

  • finally a video that actually shows whats its like to try and climb up Omaha beach. nice footage. WHO ARE WE??? 1ST ID! GET SOME, proud to serve in 07 in Charlie company and we are going in 08
