There's fuck all cool about this wank weapon lol its pump. Get with the times and get something that doesn't way a fucking ton. PS we need more LMG's and SS rifles you tight fisted cunts lol
@djsintek your correct... although i can assure all of you, this rifle proves itself on the range.. and i dont mean airsofting! great piece of kit, specially in ghan with the new rail, optics in place
i have used this weapon on and off as an infantryman in yorkshire reg and it was the a2 scoped version it never jamed on me once unless i mistreated it. it is a robust effective well made and designed bit of kit
the original and the A1 were quite a failure, but the A2 and now the A3 (well the one with heavier barrel, new grips, etc) is a damn good piece of kit. if you like bullpups.
redesigned bit of kit* :P, but yeah ive read a lot of reviews and positive stuff about the L85a1. Have you only shot with the L85 or have you tried other rifles? i wanna know what you think of the trigger squeeze, since thats the tricky area for bullups
This was ignored by usa who adopted the 7.62mm & redesigned the Garand as the M14 That didn't work out so the yanks swapped to 5.56mm for the M-16 and only now 60 years later are switching to something similar.. the 6.8 mm round!!
7.62mm too powerful for full auto 5.56mm inadequate penetration, especially in Urban combat
Late again Yanks!! lol.
Not bad mouthing you guys though, some of the weapons you have designed are complete mustard.
M1911, Thompson, Barrett .50 cal to name but a small few
having fired all of these weapons, the sa-80 is the exact thing in terms of reliability except for the fact that it is completely right handed, and in a bullpup design, and what you also have wrong is that the m-14 is still used as an intermediate assault weapon. The only reason for this is because it was too large of a round for an automatic causing too much muzzle jump. The 5.56 was just an economically effective tool much like your precious piece of plastic.
also the listed guns at the bottom are the most successful and used firearms in history, way to flame the real guns. Also your sa80 is a 5.56 mm gun, where is your progress, all i see is you guys copying our round and trying to change configurations of existing guns. And if you want to see some manly guns, look at the civilian market, we have all kinds of good shit, a lot of us have been able to invent rounds like the .510 whisper.
the .510 whisper kicks less than a .308 and is a subsonic .50 cal bullet capable of sub 1 inch groups at 600 yards. The ballistic coefficient of this round is so great that it only loses 100 ft per second at 500 yards making it much less susceptible to wind. Also silenced this round is quieter than a suppressed 9mm. and correct me if i am wrong about your list of weapons at the bottom, it sounded like you didnt like them, if you do, i am sorry for misinterpreting it incorrectly.
We are not switching to a 6.8 round 1st its not a nato round 2nd theres prolly not that many rounds out there and the brits , while we used to m14 (battle rifle), used a copy of the belgian Fn Fal (l1a1 autoloading rifle) the 7.62 is a sniper/dmr round or a lmg round but not an assult rifle round unless its a 7.62x39mm (ak-47) the 5.56 is better at close range than 7.62 and is more leathal its also lighter and has less recoil (hence its use for uban or woodland enviroments)
they are all the same system using NATO bullets, the idea that you all get about which one is better is completely stupid, the last major firearms achievement was the first automatic weapon and the invention of the scope. The ak is also just a loosely made weapon without care for accuracy and focused on cheap production and gun life. I would never take one into battle. I would rather have accuracy than a gun that can be filled with mud, personally i don't stick my guns in mud.
the l85 is as accurate as an m4 just shorter overall leanth same firepower but the l85 is shitty reliablibity and it will fall apart (literally) my freind hes in the royal army had his for a few weeks the handguard broke and hes had a few layers of duct tape on it ever since the l85 had good concepts but bad execution
well thats crap, the A2 version is fine, had the same rifle for 18 months and never had a problem with it,also the sa80 is the most accurate assault rifle in the world been proven many times over, and its not the royal army ffs
The plastic parts are bound to break, they are a very good budget weapon at £500 (inc. SUSAT), but metal hand guard, pistol grip will force up the price.
In contrast to the Royal Navy, Royal Marines and Royal Air Force, the British Army does not include "Royal" in its title. Primarily this is because historically the British Army is the Army of Parliament and not the Crown. requiring Parliamentary Authority to maintain a standing army in peacetime. Nevertheless, many of its constituent Regiments and Corps are styled Royal and have members of the Royal Family occupying senior positions within some regiments
i handled the early sa80's back in the late eighteirs early ninties and they were full of bugs, but by all accounts these have been smoothed out now,, that said id still prefer the old bren, it was a lot of fun to shoot and pissed on the sa80/lsw for power and range, as for the comment on the sa80 beng a rip of the ar15,, mate thats shit, i have been inside both guns and they are not the same at all.
ok , as an infantry soldier in the army and having the sa80 a2 verion as a personal weapon i can dismantle, clean and put back together blind folded. the sa80 is an awsome range weapon and can be classed as a sniper for distance. accurate, reliable and easy to use. the only downfall is its weight which is much heavier than the us army assault rifle but can still fire at a better distance.
dude, the M16 sucks anyway you guys, i'm a ranger and i'll give ya that...HK's and AK's are way better... who cares who makes it as long as it'll save your ass in a firefight? SA80 is pretty fucking awesome, got to train with one not too long ago...
actaully it wasnt shelved due to the high ups, it was because it used a 7mm round. at that time the us were pushing for the 7.62 round to be adopted as the standard nato round and rechambering the rifle for it was not an option so it was dropped.
Actually madcap if you read up on your history, the idea for a Bullpup assault rifle for the British army goes back to the 40's. Not saying that ideas/parts from any other weapon werent used, but defiantely not based entirly on any Other weapon system
madcap ignorant comments like that are the reason why your nation is the most hated on earth i suggest you forget about the outside world and stay wrapped up in your america like the rest of your vile race.
i dont see what u mean... enlighten me. Also, what your saying about the AR18 is irrelevant. It WAS loosely based on AR18. none of the working parts are the same. Anyway, its not like the M16 was designed from scratch now, is it?
The M-16 was in the sense it didn't rip off parts from other manufacturers. It was sold to colt by Armalite who did develop the ar--15 and re chambered it in 5.56 for the government. Which was originally the 601, and 602 colts.
Oh, and loosely based? Similar op-rod, bolt, bolt carrier, firing pin, two-rod guide rod, upper receiver, barrel and flash hider? Yea, loose indeed. More like loosely changed to skirt patents
go for it 'genius'...the rifle has an effective range of 400m so good luck - With an iron sight I'd happily sit there all day while you fire at 1000m - Hey even use a SUSAT if you want!
On paper on paper.Considering the muzzle velocity is 970 metres per second,id take that bet.Plus it depends on the marksman.Incidently i am ex army and a marksman."genius".Stick to your catapults.
Your relaying on nothing put irrelevant physics to back your comment. What your even suggesting means you've never fired an SA80 or even fired a rifle. I was in the British Army for 5 years and I know for a fact your not hitting shit at 1000m with this rifle > At 600m it's effective as a 'section weapon' but thats because so many rounds are going down, some one is going to hit the target. The odds are higher! You should know that, which makes me believe your not ex-army or a so called marksman.
Theres no such thing as irrelevent physics. You were only in for five years,i was in for eight and a half.I was also a Juniour Leader for one year.I was trained with the SLR and sa80.Your relying on by the book info which arouses my suspicions about you.Wikipedia really informative isnt it.
it wasn't me quoting technical statistics from wikipedia, that was you. It's basic skill at arms knowledge I was talking about. The fact that the APWT tests an infantryman on his shooting skills up to 400m was what I referred to. BASIC INFANTRYMAN'S KNOWLEDGE, like knowing Section Battle Drills. Who the hell needs and wants to know the muzzle velocity? There's no realistic purpose in knowing that information. If you want to get bullshitty it's 940m/s not 970m/s
and the standard version can only be fired from the right shoulder but these are the only two problems that i can find with this rifle. ot is shorter than the m4 or m16 yet has a longer barrel due to the bull pup design therefore making it alot more accurate. right out to 400m it still remains more accurate than the xm8 which the us militairy is doing trials on to adopt atm. so maybe dont make a comment until you are 100% sure you are correct because you just made yourself look like a dumbass.
umm simmy.. sorry to point this out but your an idiot. the british havent adopted a new rifle since 1985 for the same reason the us havnt adopted a new assault rifle since the 60's. this one already works, and it works very well at that so why spend millions replacing it? the sa80a2 is a brilliant weapon. it is more reliable and accurate than the m16 or m4 as long as it is kept clean. which it does because it is army sops. sure the bull pup design makes it awkward to reload in the prone position
to be honest actually all i asked was why they hadn't developed any "new" guns not completely got rid of the weapon, i like the sa80 it's probably the best gun in the world. and it's 1982 btw not 85 get it right. And also i stated that the government are putting no money into military, as some soldier's in Iraq haven't even got the right kit.
considering peoples past comments on that none have been made since 1985 they have recently brought out the SA80 A2 and LSW A2 wich are better versions of the rifle
At least our army doesnt steal out of date design ideas from the Germans. Like the Keblar Helmit (German design) and the M60 (German design from the MG 42) and it doesnt matter what kind of rifle the army uses as long as its not held by a fuckin Yank!
the keblar helmet is actually a very sensible piece of kit and at the time a breakthrough for helmets in terms of neck protection, the yanks have just made a good design even better with the addition of kevlar. As for the MG42? another fine example of german engineering, so much so that the german army and the scandanavians use the MG43 nowadays, that is only slighlty upgraded from the 42.
You know the SA-80 was uses the internals of the ar-18, an American design right? That sterling made the ar-18 under license for Armalite? Then incorporated it!
Nice, but not completely realistic, mainly on the sights, and why did he realease the bolt with the hold open catch? Thats just gona wreck it! use the bolt release catch! thats what its designed for!
I have been on excersise with this weapon, many times, in appaulling whether, and I have never had any stoppages whatsoever. All the problems with the A1, have been mostly Ironed out in the A2. There are only 4 stoppages that happens with the A2, and they are rare, I have never encountered one.
I'd agree the SA80's accuracy and range is excellent however u don't join the army to win target shooting competions. The facts r this, SAS will use G36,G3,M16/M4,Steyr and Diemaco but they still outright refuse to use the SA80. If the rifle was that damn good other Armys would be looking at it but their not their using various H&K rifles, Diemacos and M4's. No-other major armed forces will use the SA80 the most popular rifle is the G36even C019 use the G36C. The SA80 should have been scrapped.
airsoft is for boys who dream about the real thing. the real l85a2 rifle fitted with a susat sight is the most effective weapon around fact! come to core saam and watch us kick everyone elses arse with it. operationally its sound never had a problem dont believe the crap you read. ive fired many weapons and i cant think of any other viable option. as for sas they get to choose equipment job specific. they dont have standard issue kit. as armies go the uk is quite lucky with its hardware.
LOOK THIS GUN HAS ITS GOOD AND BAD POINTS the good, It is very accurate It has a very long barrel (long range) It looks like something out of starwars :) Its able to use M4/M16 mags (useful) It is back-heavy Bad points, It is very heavy It can jam if not given some care Its not very upgradable I give it 9/10
It's not rated the world's greatest assault rifle. H&K G36 and the new 416 are generally considered better rifles as is the Diemaco C7. Remember the best trained troops in the world SAS/SBS STILL outright refuse to use the SA80, even the A2 version.
oh yea i forgot bout the 416 and Canadian Troops are the best trained infantry/troops, and snipers, we have very little casualties, like when a Canadian soldier dies, its on the news lol :P but yea, we get good stuff from other countrys to train their troops
Hmmmm, SAS and SBS probably still the best trained. They're the only Special forces in the world who do not outsource their training... And when British troops die, they get on the news too! The only difference is Brits are regularly placed in the most dangerous situations- for example SBS capture of Bagram airport. The British army are still seen as being the established 'teachers' of modern troop warfare. Shite equipment though... :(
to be honest with u did, americans say that they are the best, but they're not, its defiently Canadian and british, considering Canada was established from Britain and well yea we do have very very very simular training, and yea the SAS are very well trained, so yeaa
Yea, it's certainly not the U.S airmen lol. Or certainly not the A10 pilots. F*cking cowboys... I don't know much about Canadian servicemen- but I guess that makes sense! Do you have a Canadian regiment of the SAS?
sure do, very very very hard to get into, u have to have been in standard military, for at least 3 years, and another some odd years in another part of the branch, so yea you cannot just randomly join the CSOR (Canadian Special Forces)
and then after you join, you get more special training aside from the trainging already in the military
i have lived in both America and Britain and i have to say British troops are better trained than the us military the only reason it would be a tough fight if the US invaded the Britain is because the US is 100 times bigger than Britain
that is the ONLY reason it would be a tough fight they have numbers thats it. other than that the US has no chance of winning, so yea...
you have to consider technology, and Canadian troops are only trained better then British troops because, british training stradegy was used, then we used some of our own and thats why Canada has the world best trained infantry, but man of man, british and Canadian troops come soo close, and americans dont realise that
and yes, the SAS do prefer weapons like, but only because they are more controlable at short ranges. and i think you would find that if they tried to standardise a HK, politics would get in the way, because it did for Germany.
we use the SA80 and the GP rifle (a semi single round version) in cadets. neither have ever jammed. they are incredably reliable. not as reliable as an AK, but they still give them to the royal marines. this is because they can be taken through salt water, swamps, deserts etc, withought jamming. they are also acurate even at long distances, and are perfect for a standard infantry weapon. I am technically in the army now, just not commisioned, and i will be in a year, so i would know.
The SA80 A2 is the most reliable rifle in the NATO armoury at the moment.
I and think I am right in saying that the reason the SAS etc dont use it is because they prefer a rifle where the safety catch and the fire selection switch are all easily accesible, which is not really the case with the fire selection switch on the SA80.
True, if given the choice the SAS/SBS would still use the old SLR rifle over the SA80 even the A2 version. The SA80 should NEVER have been overhauled and the H&K G36 should have been brought in to replace it.
If the british army could, they would give it back. Just saying what I read and hear. Same with the Austrian gun. Both guns have the mag behind the trigger. Maybe the more complex mechanism causing problems?!
The A2 version is improved however the SA80 should NEVER have been overhauled. The rifle should have been scrapped and either the H&K G36,or Diemaco C7 brought in to replace it. Remember no-other major armed forces in the world uses SA80's and the SAS/SBS STILL outright refuse to use the SA80, speaks volumes that really!
All you litttle 10 year old pricks before you say this weapon is shit join the army cadets or maybe the real army if you got any balls then once you have trained with it try saying that it is crap .. and if your Not british then tough shit use your world relief weapons from 1942 ...
not gonna happen because of the fibua type environments. the point of the lower calibres is to limit the damage to the actual person you are firing at. i.e. not killing the family behind the bad guy! also you can carry more ammo in the same amount of space. getting more rounds down range seems to be the way forward.
Wow, all the 9yo dicks that say 'this weapons shit' and don't give any reason for it. The amount of bigots that just act hard behind pixels. sad life...

scaredweepel 3 years ago
In that case you would nt mind me taking pot shots at you from 1000 meters would you?Retard!
seangrie8 3 years ago
go for it 'genius'...the rifle has an effective range of 400m so good luck - With an iron sight I'd happily sit there all day while you fire at 1000m - Hey even use a SUSAT if you want!
scaredweepel 3 years ago
On paper on paper.Considering the muzzle velocity is 970 metres per second,id take that bet.Plus it depends on the marksman.Incidently i am ex army and a marksman."genius".Stick to your catapults.
seangrie8 3 years ago
Your relaying on nothing put irrelevant physics to back your comment. What your even suggesting means you've never fired an SA80 or even fired a rifle. I was in the British Army for 5 years and I know for a fact your not hitting shit at 1000m with this rifle > At 600m it's effective as a 'section weapon' but thats because so many rounds are going down, some one is going to hit the target. The odds are higher! You should know that, which makes me believe your not ex-army or a so called marksman.
scaredweepel 3 years ago
Theres no such thing as irrelevent physics. You were only in for five years,i was in for eight and a half.I was also a Juniour Leader for one year.I was trained with the SLR and sa80.Your relying on by the book info which arouses my suspicions about you.Wikipedia really informative isnt it.
seangrie8 3 years ago
it wasn't me quoting technical statistics from wikipedia, that was you. If you want to get bullshitty it's 940m/s not 970m/s

that is serously a nice gun :)
newcastleaircorps 3 years ago
and the standard version can only be fired from the right shoulder but these are the only two problems that i can find with this rifle. ot is shorter than the m4 or m16 yet has a longer barrel due to the bull pup design therefore making it alot more accurate. right out to 400m it still remains more accurate than the xm8 which the us militairy is doing trials on to adopt atm. so maybe dont make a comment until you are 100% sure you are correct because you just made yourself look like a dumbass.

Olliballs 3 years ago
no it's not my cousin is in the army and he calls it the l85a2 you fucking asshole.
simmy2004 3 years ago
ha you're the idiot. The correct name is L85A2 SA80.
throughadversity 3 years ago
umm simmy.. sorry to point this out but your an idiot. the british havent adopted a new rifle since 1985 for the same reason the us havnt adopted a new assault rifle since the 60's. this one already works, and it works very well at that so why spend millions replacing it? the sa80a2 is a brilliant weapon. it is more reliable and accurate than the m16 or m4 as long as it is kept clean. which it does because it is army sops. sure the bull pup design makes it awkward to reload in the prone position
plopudom 3 years ago
to be honest actually all i asked was why they hadn't developed any "new" guns not completely got rid of the weapon, i like the sa80 it's probably the best gun in the world. and it's 1982 btw not 85 get it right. And also i stated that the government are putting no money into military, as some soldier's in Iraq haven't even got the right kit.

The SA80's are quite a good weapon
considering peoples past comments on that none have been made since 1985 they have recently brought out the SA80 A2 and LSW A2 wich are better versions of the rifle
weldrick5190 3 years ago
what i wonder is how u are so dumb we have a new assault rifle the sa80 a3 like ur m16 witch was made in the 60 dipshit
Zanarah 3 years ago
A3? no such thing matey. the A2 you mean.
mofobrunty 3 years ago
What i don't get it why the British army haven't developed a new gun since 1985.. probably because the government put hardly any money into military.
simmy2004 3 years ago
heh, the country (Im from the UK) have become too soft on those claiming benfits and shit, Taxes are rediculessly high, prices are high. Its stupid.

At least our army doesnt steal out of date design ideas from the Germans. Like the Keblar Helmit (German design) and the M60 (German design from the MG 42) and it doesnt matter what kind of rifle the army uses as long as its not held by a fuckin Yank!
govanprotestantboy 3 years ago 2
the keblar helmet is actually a very sensible piece of kit and at the time a breakthrough for helmets in terms of neck protection, the yanks have just made a good design even better with the addition of kevlar. As for the MG42? another fine example of german engineering, so much so that the german army and the scandanavians use the MG43 nowadays, that is only slighlty upgraded from the 42.

doysh1212 4 years ago 2
the biggest prob. with the sa80 is it can jam up very easily...other than that a very good weapon.
deadcoins 4 years ago
I have been on excersise with this weapon, many times, in appaulling whether, and I have never had any stoppages whatsoever. All the problems with the A1, have been mostly Ironed out in the A2. There are only 4 stoppages that happens with the A2, and they are rare, I have never encountered one.
falcons1988 3 years ago
I'd agree the SA80's accuracy and range is excellent however u don't join the army to win target shooting competions. The facts r this, SAS will use G36,G3,M16/M4,Steyr and Diemaco but they still outright refuse to use the SA80. If the rifle was that damn good other Armys would be looking at it but their not their using various H&K rifles, Diemacos and M4's. No-other major armed forces will use the SA80 the most popular rifle is the G36even C019 use the G36C. The SA80 should have been scrapped.
drhagg 4 years ago

limbuckl 4 years ago
if SA 80 is the best rifle known to mankind, why doesnt the special forces around the world use it ?they use G36,G3,M16/M4 instead.
it is good but not the best and cheap.
limbuckl 4 years ago
airsoft is for boys who dream about the real thing. the real l85a2 rifle fitted with a susat sight is the most effective weapon around fact! come to core saam and watch us kick everyone elses arse with it. operationally its sound never had a problem dont believe the crap you read. ive fired many weapons and i cant think of any other viable option. as for sas they get to choose equipment job specific. they dont have standard issue kit. as armies go the uk is quite lucky with its hardware.

r u stupid?! its rated the worlds greatest assault rifle right now!
SGT4EVA 4 years ago
It's not rated the world's greatest assault rifle. H&K G36 and the new 416 are generally considered better rifles as is the Diemaco C7. Remember the best trained troops in the world SAS/SBS STILL outright refuse to use the SA80, even the A2 version.
drhagg 4 years ago
oh yea i forgot bout the 416 and Canadian Troops are the best trained infantry/troops, and snipers, we have very little casualties, like when a Canadian soldier dies, its on the news lol :P but yea, we get good stuff from other countrys to train their troops
SGT4EVA 4 years ago
Hmmmm, SAS and SBS probably still the best trained. They're the only Special forces in the world who do not outsource their training... And when British troops die, they get on the news too! The only difference is Brits are regularly placed in the most dangerous situations- for example SBS capture of Bagram airport. The British army are still seen as being the established 'teachers' of modern troop warfare. Shite equipment though... :(
silverfish1983 4 years ago
to be honest with u did, americans say that they are the best, but they're not, its defiently Canadian and british, considering Canada was established from Britain and well yea we do have very very very simular training, and yea the SAS are very well trained, so yeaa
SGT4EVA 4 years ago
Yea, it's certainly not the U.S airmen lol. Or certainly not the A10 pilots. F*cking cowboys... I don't know much about Canadian servicemen- but I guess that makes sense! Do you have a Canadian regiment of the SAS?
silverfish1983 4 years ago
sure do, very very very hard to get into, u have to have been in standard military, for at least 3 years, and another some odd years in another part of the branch, so yea you cannot just randomly join the CSOR (Canadian Special Forces)
and then after you join, you get more special training aside from the trainging already in the military
SGT4EVA 4 years ago
i have lived in both America and Britain and i have to say British troops are better trained than the us military the only reason it would be a tough fight if the US invaded the Britain is because the US is 100 times bigger than Britain
that is the ONLY reason it would be a tough fight they have numbers thats it. other than that the US has no chance of winning, so yea...
deadcoins 3 years ago 3
you have to consider technology, and Canadian troops are only trained better then British troops because, british training stradegy was used, then we used some of our own and thats why Canada has the world best trained infantry, but man of man, british and Canadian troops come soo close, and americans dont realise that
SGT4EVA 3 years ago
that is very true

diamonddiver 4 years ago
you think? i dunno, i just dont see it that way
and yes, the SAS do prefer weapons like, but only because they are more controlable at short ranges. and i think you would find that if they tried to standardise a HK, politics would get in the way, because it did for Germany.
pRaIrVkEoRur 4 years ago
we use the SA80 and the GP rifle (a semi single round version) in cadets. neither have ever jammed. they are incredably reliable. not as reliable as an AK, but they still give them to the royal marines. this is because they can be taken through salt water, swamps, deserts etc, withought jamming. they are also acurate even at long distances, and are perfect for a standard infantry weapon. I am technically in the army now, just not commisioned, and i will be in a year, so i would know.
pRaIrVkEoRur 4 years ago
Can someone tell me what the green bit that he unscrewed at 00:36 is called. And is that the MK2? Thanks

i agree. sa80 jams like shit. slightest bit of dirt and bam...
bobthehappyhaddock3 4 years ago
well you know nothing then..
The SA80 A2 is the most reliable rifle in the NATO armoury at the moment.
I and think I am right in saying that the reason the SAS etc dont use it is because they prefer a rifle where the safety catch and the fire selection switch are all easily accesible, which is not really the case with the fire selection switch on the SA80.
tomtomtomone 4 years ago
hahahahahahaha, bull crap, its shite!!
the SAS don't use it because its shat!
Armalite's, Heckler & Koch, and they still use L1A1 SLR'S , SA80 is shat, the best thing you can do is throw it as far as you can
UBIQUEROL 4 years ago
True, if given the choice the SAS/SBS would still use the old SLR rifle over the SA80 even the A2 version. The SA80 should NEVER have been overhauled and the H&K G36 should have been brought in to replace it.
drhagg 4 years ago
I, personally, like the SA80. I think it looks cool!
I want 2 fire one!!

i reacently completed my fire arms test on it and it n amazing weapon but the magazine needs re-thinking
WaK31aM 4 years ago
If the british army could, they would give it back. Just saying what I read and hear. Same with the Austrian gun. Both guns have the mag behind the trigger. Maybe the more complex mechanism causing problems?!
xatomicxboyx 4 years ago
The A2 version is improved however the SA80 should NEVER have been overhauled. The rifle should have been scrapped and either the H&K G36,or Diemaco C7 brought in to replace it. Remember no-other major armed forces in the world uses SA80's and the SAS/SBS STILL outright refuse to use the SA80, speaks volumes that really!

shit gun bring back the big calibres....303...7.62
countrywideboy 4 years ago
not gonna happen because of the fibua type environments. the point of the lower calibres is to limit the damage to the actual person you are firing at. i.e. not killing the family behind the bad guy! also you can carry more ammo in the same amount of space. getting more rounds down range seems to be the way forward.
