I can kick butt with a game controller when playing on a game console, but its certainly a HINDRANCE when playing on PC.

Mouse and keyboard feel strange to you? It's not hard to just get accustomed to it (please ignore this suggestion if you have some disability that prevents you from using the standard PC configuration).

It's a hindrance because you will never be able to turn as quickly or precisely as you can with a mouse. You can only turn at the maximum speed that the thumbstick allows. All of my friends and I have always been able to use dual-analog gamepads, but we know that's it's impossible to play competitively in PC FPS games if you use it. I'm no stranger to dual-analog. I even preferred to play Goldeneye 007 on N64 with the two-controller method.

I downloaded LibUSB and installed it on vista. Now, I cant use my mouse or keyboard which connects via USB. Help...:/

this happend to me a week ago, it scared the living daylights out of me, just run system recovery, all drivers will be reinstalled and you should be fine, this worked for me. i will never messed with homebrew drivers again. Please let me know if this worked for you. GOOD LUCK !!!

No, It doesnt MAGICALLY connect, and there is no garuntee that your computer is even compatable! It uses a coded bluetooth signal. You have to be somewhat good at computers and know what your doing to get this to work. Even after it connects via bluetooth, you need to run several additional scripts to make it control your mouse.

If your computer can't connect wirelessly, it will work if it is connected through a mini usb cable. Also, there is a program that will let you choose which keys on the keyboard you want the pad to control (e.g using the joystick as a mouse, X is enter etc.) I can't remember the exact program as I uninstalled it a month or two ago, but a quick google should sort it.

not heard of emulators? it's where all the good games are, and you can use vsync for all those classic games that would have originally been displayed on your TV, making them smooth for once (unlike on the stupid PC refresh rates)

For all of those who think it's bullshit, you're idiots. The Sixaxis/Dualshock 3 do work on computers as well via bluetooth and regular USB connection. If you want to know how, just google "sixaxis driver" and download it. The lights will sometimes blink, and sometimes they won't be on at all. You may think it's bullshit, but you're the idiot for not knowing and judging by your blind eye.

The trick is to open up task manager, right click on BtSix.exe, set the Priority to REALTIME

It works for me! Also, V1.3a is very laggy for me! stick with 1.2 or 1.3!
