@FeelingShred yeah he does that at most of his live shows, sometimes he plays with a drummer, but that's about it. I personally think it allows him to freestyle more but that's just me.
This is by far one of my favourite performances for Welcome to Bucketheadland... His solo on this one... is just quite different, reminds me the old Buck on Deli Creeps a bit, and i just love that.
might not be any shred guitarists out there that play with as much emotion/technique as Buckethead and Randy Rhoads, there's just something in their playing that you feel that you don't feel with anybody else
omg the first time i've ever heard him make one mistake is on 1:02 and i've been listening to his music for years, pretty good for never making a mistake accept for now
really? :/ I've heard him make plenty of mistakes in his live shows. Watch him play The Redeem Team live, he almost always screws up the main melody for some reason.
Not trying to put Bucket down. He's one of my absolute favourite guitarists n musicians. I'm just saying....
@FretMunky88 yeah man he def makes his fair share of mistakes. I totally agree. He also preforms by himself. thats gotta be a contributing factor. I've def noticed that he fucks up less when preforming w/ others. I can't imagine going up there solo every night
are you fucking stupid? buckethead does make tiny mistakes sometime, all musicians does if you think that buckethead plays everything 100 % perfectly then something is wrong with your ear.
Well I DON'T CARE if it was a mistake.. STILL SOUNDED AWESOME.. just like everything he plays... I mean C'MON... everybody makes mistakes... what... just's cuz HE'S A GREAT GUITAR PLAYER he's not allowed to make mistakes? LOL
But damn man.. I DIDN'T NOTICED THAT UNTIL I READ YOUR COMMENT =P
i have never seen anyone who is this technically good first of all, second of all i must say that he has great feeling unlike the likes of Malmsteen etc. by the way, someone who i am sure he could play the shit out of in his own game.
Saw this guy Oct. 29th, this was the last song of his set after playing for 4+ hours, amazing. If you think this is good, you have to go and watch him, it's mind blowing.
Is he playing without drummer/bassist? Playing on top of backing tracks?
