  • Is he playing without drummer/bassist? Playing on top of backing tracks?

  • @FeelingShred yeah he does that at most of his live shows, sometimes he plays with a drummer, but that's about it. I personally think it allows him to freestyle more but that's just me.

  • ALLL ABOOORRRD THE CRAZY TRAIN!!! NEXT STOP: BUCKETHEAD LAND!

  • thats the 3rd concert ive seen where he walks out with ac dc's "touch to much"

  • What are the voices that sounds at the beginning?

  • stands like and picks like paul gilbert, dunno if anyone else noticed. kinda similar style of playing too

  • @wickerman12345 thats probably because gilbert was his teacher

  • This is by far one of my favourite performances for Welcome to Bucketheadland... His solo on this one... is just quite different, reminds me the old Buck on Deli Creeps a bit, and i just love that.

  • With the dark background and his hair, sometime it looks like his head is dislocated from is body

  • Awsomeness as usual. Buckethead is a guitar god.

And he has great music taste go to 5:00! Touch too Much by AC/DC!

  • 2:35 = FACEMELTING SOLO

  • might not be any shred guitarists out there that play with as much emotion/technique as Buckethead and Randy Rhoads, there's just something in their playing that you feel that you don't feel with anybody else

  • you must ride the crazy train to get to buckethead land!

  • @MrBrokoli99 Sadly, there are no crazy trains in Finland, so, no Bucketheadland for me :(

  • haha gotta love buckethead he kicks ass

  • how come he doesnt play binge and grab now in 2009?

  • man

    he isnt human ;P

    fuckin awesome

    this improvisation was great .D

  • He isnt human? well for a robot then he sure does stuff up alot. At the fucking start he didnt even turn his guitar on! wtf

  • robots are only as smart as the person who programed them, =.= hawkings why didnt u tell us about this!!!

  • omg the first time i've ever heard him make one mistake is on 1:02 and i've been listening to his music for years, pretty good for never making a mistake accept for now

  • really? :/ I've heard him make plenty of mistakes in his live shows. Watch him play The Redeem Team live, he almost always screws up the main melody for some reason.

Not trying to put Bucket down. He's one of my absolute favourite guitarists n musicians. I'm just saying....

  • I know what your saying. I think dude just got high before this show lol did you see the binge and grab? that sounds like me high tryin to play it

  • @FretMunky88 yeah man he def makes his fair share of mistakes. I totally agree. He also preforms by himself. thats gotta be a contributing factor. I've def noticed that he fucks up less when preforming w/ others. I can't imagine going up there solo every night

  • buckethead never makes a mistake!

  • what was the song that started after wtb was over? sounded pretty cool

  • some acdc stuff

  • AC/DC - Touch Too Much

  • what brand is the white guitar he uses?

it doesnt matter if he made a mistake he is still amazin

  • its a heavily modified gibson either 57 or 58, i believe.

  • It's a custom Gibson, really. :)

  • it's a gibson custom built for him because he said the standard size looked like a toy in his hands.

  • its a custom gibson, search it on wikipedia, im afraid this comment box doesnt allow me to go into the detail wikipedia does

  • That is a Gibson Les Paul - 1969 heavily modified, all white hardware, killswitch, and uncovered DiMarzio pickups

  • how much is it worth?

  • cant tell you that

  • I love the part when he needs to put his guitar louder!

  • lol he made a mistake 1:01 or 1:02

  • Buckethead doesn't make mistakes. He put it there on purpose! :D

  • i dont think so it sounds like a little mistake....

he didn't repeat same sound in next time....

  • Buckethead actually puts a lot of stuff like that in to make riffs more interesting in all of his songs.

  • he does but this was a tiny mistake, and all musicians is allowed to make small mistakes, specially buckethead cuz hes songs is pretty hard

  • buckethead does not make mistakes...if u think you heard something wrong its your ears that made a mistake

  • you are fucking retarded for taking my comment srsly...ofcourse he can make a mistake you douche

    please do not reply crapface

  • rather than trolling here, learn how to spell you douche

  • i really wasnt threatning you...geez you are dumb

  • come on! theres damn much pressure being one of the best.

  • Well I DON'T CARE if it was a mistake.. STILL SOUNDED AWESOME.. just like everything he plays... I mean C'MON... everybody makes mistakes... what... just's cuz HE'S A GREAT GUITAR PLAYER he's not allowed to make mistakes? LOL

But damn man.. I DIDN'T NOTICED THAT UNTIL I READ YOUR COMMENT =P

  • lol,the main riff is sumthin like Crazy train .....

  • it's a tribute to Randy Rhodes.

  • great improvvisation!!! i love buckethead

  • Buckethead!!

    I think...

    I love you xD

  • i have never seen anyone who is this technically good first of all, second of all i must say that he has great feeling unlike the likes of Malmsteen etc. by the way, someone who i am sure he could play the shit out of in his own game.

  • That was like the most awesome thing i've ever heard in my life. nice upload.

  • I JUST CAME

  • Saw this guy Oct. 29th, this was the last song of his set after playing for 4+ hours, amazing. If you think this is good, you have to go and watch him, it's mind blowing.

  • Was that in Raleigh by any chance? I was there.

  • damn man, 4 hours?

he only played for 2 hours at the anaheim show... :(

still though -- it was a life changing event.

  • ONLY 2 hours he says...He played close to 3 on October 7th, 2008 in CT but hey, would you rather have seen him for 0 hours? only 2 ha ha. ;)

  • this is awsome shit

  • This guy = the best.

  • Greatest. Guitarist. Alive.
