Understand this: There is no substance on the Earth that you can take that will make you crave another substance that you have never had. You won't have one set of chemicals in your system that immediately make you crave another set of chemicals that have never been introduced to you before. That doesn't even make sense. Think about it.
I agree that marijuana should be legalised. But i must say that it is not chrishtian that keep it from being legalised it is the Gov.I am a chrishtian and i think that it is but a gift from God. A gift to better humanity, in many countless ways. Although i dont smoke now because it is illegal, I hope that it some day isnt cause i like being high.
hahaha i hope your joking dude! for fuck sake. if your serious then you have given a good example of how the government controls us to the point that most people are just like cattle or sheep or some other farm yard animal unsuspecting of its imminent trip to the killing room floor
true, besides that, the government calls it a gateway, because 80% of hard drug users, started with Marijuana. Of course it doesn't work the other way around... If it was a gateway drug 80% of Marijuana users would be moving to harder drugs... but their not of course.
As far as the "gateway" effect... I think there should be a defined difference between people who experiment with a drug, and try it once... and those that abuse, and become addicted...
And that right there, would disprove "gateway drugs"...
There is nothing wrong with experimentation, if you do it responsibly and safely. and that doesn't mean you're a victim of this make-believe gateway effect.
Marijuana is certainly a euphoriant. It makes you feel good and happy. Cocaine is nothing like that. It makes you feel total power over the world, a totaqlly different experience. Marijuana, in the lingo, are 'down heads' while cocaine users are 'upheads'. A huge difference.
I wouldn't be that extreme. At one point I was a "naive" believer who really belived pot was much better than alcohol. I decided I was wrong. That doesn't necessarily mean that they are all wrong.
actually i would go to that extreme and say marijuana is better and safer than alcohol. let's keep in mind, marijuana hasn't killed any one! no one. not one person. not even any anecdotal proof! but alcohol has caused more death directly and indirectly than any other narcotic! of course there is always a difference between use and abuse. but even abuse of marijuana doesn't cause death. you can die from water toxicity before marijuana overdose.
Marijuana undermines drive, leads to overeating and gives an inviting peek into psychedelic experience which leads many to explore LSD, mescaline, etc. It does seem to cause some memory loss. I met one person who simply taled jibberish after one joint, only one. Alcohol is the choice of the succesfful class everywhere the two exist as social intoxicants.
that's not true at all. where'd you get those facts from? you're offering a lot of misinformation. it's very unfair. you do the uneducated public a disservice by painting a picture of marijuana smokers that is far from true or honest. you've decided to disregard anecdotal AND scientific evidence for this silly, outdated "reefer madness" stance which serves to further harm hard working, responsible people. have you ever smoked marijuana?
I smoked marijuana for twenty years. I used to smoke hash before my morning shower. I ran the biggest psychedelic shop in East Village, Underground Uplift Unlimited, 28 St. Marks Place. I "know" from doing it.
You're wrong. Yes, you can't overdose on THC, but many die indirectly from use, and you mentioned indirect deaths caused by alcohol. Think of all the car accidents and party mishaps.
no the marijuana has nothing to do with it....he was probably a moron from the day he was born..they proved that marijuana doesnt destory brain cells...u people need to learn the REAL facts about marijuana
I went through a period when I "rediscovered" the fun of smoking pot on weekends because I hadn't gotten high in days. Like alcohol, the first glow is best!
the real reason is england, spain, rest of europe and amrika do not want india to get rich, before 1947 it was legal, and britain was trading it via the east indian company and had taxed it aswell, the reason is racial. simple, the indian government have been brainwashed by babylonian education.
I disagree. The "word" in Hindi for "crazy person" translates as "hashish eater". Opium was also legal in the early 1900s. Society discovered many abusers
I have to agree, and go off the topic of this video. I have just returned from India and seen evidence everywhere that the government is stacked with moron puppets of babylon. The largest democracy in the world is being led by the nose by the "richest" (most indebted) democracy in the world into the toxic hellhole necessitated by the worlds financial elite.
I have nothing against stoners, and when did I mention I wanted them dead? Anyhow, my point is that we need more educated people speaking on our behalf, people that others will actually listen to without judging them on their appearance or they way they talk and carry themselves. I have nothing against the man as I agree with a lot of what he is saying, but do you honestly think a conservative with a stick up there ass is going to pay any attention to what he is saying? I doubt it.
My best friend in life chided me about how "alcohol would kill me". He came down with cancer of the saliva glands and died a few months later. I'm still drinking and I'm still alive. Maybe it is just genetics.
Probably many people would have those problems. How many smokers do you know who realized how habituated they were smoking on the steps in 10 degree weather?
What made you change from legal to decrim? and pot is relatively safe compared to alcohol and cigarettes how many people have you heard of dying from smoking pot?
Pot is a fun way to debilitate yourself. On a trip traveling clean to S.A., I discovered I missed truning on so much I thought or returning to NYC early. I realized I was "habituated" if not addicted & that annoyed me.
So because you can not control your addiction it should not be legal? You brag about your drinking in other threads, should they ban alcohol too because you are a drunk?
marijuana is a hallucinogen..i dont care if its legal or not im still gonna do it

I really wish that there were less stoners like the interviewee representing others who want marijuana to be legalized. The man sounded punch drunk.

The new spokespeople (medical professionals, etc.) who have found pot reduces nasuea caused by some medications, etc. do influence conservatives.

I wouldn't say that. He obviously thought pot was the greatest thing since sliced bread & the printing press.

true but how many people would have the same trouble going on that trip without alcohol cigarettes caffiene, or even many perscription medications

I was an early enthusiast for legalizing pot. I'm now for decriminalization & medical marijuana. However, pot & cigarettes & alcohol aren't healthy.
