Playstation is so crap they cant afford a good advert and they can never be as good as the xbox 360 the only good thing about the ps3 is when you can drive with the controler when playing drveing games.. but they havent made one yet.
So xbox 360 is better then that pice of crap console and 360 has made the best ever game ad's ever..

It's not technically a ps3 ad, nowere in that does in mention the ps3. I guess thats the way they think, people don't like the ps3 so lets just do a completly random advert!
I can see what there planing to do but, on the AD I saw on the TV yesterday it didn't even say 'Playstation 3' at the end only the release date and 'This is living'. And I only realized it was for the PS3 because in had been on there website.
This is the start of a big ad campaign. Its designed to make people go to the website at first. Then more revealing adverts will start with information about what they're about. People will start talking "have you seen that wierd ad? Whats it about?" then the word will spread. Its all part of a big plan, they know what they're doing.
If so, I think they're awful. I don't believe these ads are in any way effective to bring in non-gamers. They might be effective if they were for, say, a movie that you can see for a few Euro's, but not to sell a 600 Euro machine to someone who wasn't interested in it before.
Also, the PlayStation brand is very well known even amongst non-gamers. Why on earth would you try and raise more awareness of it in such a way?
