He isn't the best rookie. He might have the best stats, but how Greg Oden effects shots and his presense in the paint won't be shown on stats.
Oden will be unbelievable. Beasley will be awesome, but he isn't a once in a decade type talent like Greg (and is kinda an undersized 4).

Ever since his junior year in high school when he won player of the year, he has been regarded as the next great big man, with hall of fame potential. Go read his nba draft profiles. Hmm, i'm thinkin' you are holding Bynum up too high bro. He has played in the NBA for 3 years and has only had a good 35 games (but they were only 13 and 10, which isn't great). Bynum has a shit load of potential, but honestly, as of right now i'd take oden as the better player, and that doesn't even count potential, as Oden has the potential to be one of the all time greats.
But everyone has a different opinion. Critics have a right to be critical. Cant wait til he shuts 'em up by kickin ass

Yea, i honestly think they will both be a little rusty though.
I'm one of those people that think Oden will struggle in the first couple months of the season though. So i think the haters will be out in full force until the all-star break. Oh well, its something you put up with lately as a blazer fan. Lots of haters (which is nice actually, you know you matter again).

dude beasley is going to average 20/10 he already mastered the carlos boozer nudge for rebounding and his wingspan is 7 feet and he will shoot it in your face or post your ass up son the truth but i think the sleeper for best draft pick was jerryd bayless he is a monster on the drive go Blazers

PTL-nobody can foretell GOs health for sure. He'll probably be fine for years...and if he is, he will dominate the NBA in the paint at both ends. He's a combo of Russell and Shaq. He'll get his 10-15 ppg, 12+ rpg, but his real strength will come on the defensive side. He will change the game there. If you are a fan of any other NBA team, watch out for this guy. To suggest that he is the next Bowie is comical.

i think oden would have definitley been rookie of the year if not for the injury..oden looks like hes been nba ready since middle school..that mofo has to be atleast 30...players like greg oden come around once every 20 years u cant pass up on a big man with that kind of potential..i dont care how talented durant is!
