When Peter Schiff talks about the economy not recovering and that stimulus created a false recovery he's talking about the GDP figure that governments use to claim growth. GDP = private consumption + gross investment + government spending + (exports − imports). When Congress throws out 800 billion dollars it effects the GDP. but it's not paid for then is it really "growth"? It would be like john Q public making 50K running up the credit card 5K and claiming his income grew 10%.

Exactly, WHAT RECOVERY? More than 15 million of our fellow Americans are still unemployed and waiting for this administration to make jobs and the economy first, instead of last on thier agenda. Those that are underemployed or stopped looking add more than 5 million more Americans to that total. Over 50 million Americans are now on governemnt assistance and or food assistance programs, that figure has not been this high since the failed Presidency of Jimmy Carter...WHAT RECOVERY?
