TGV Atlantiques are often used for services out of Gare de Lyon during the winter season, in order to cover some TGV Duplex trainsets which are used for the skitrains to the French Alpes.
dashloc is right. Video seems to begin as it comes out of tunnel at Valenton with La Plage Bleu Park on the left. At 1:42 it crosses A86 loop highway; 2:17 it enters Le Vert de Maisons RER station; 3:00 it enters Maisons-Alfort - Alfortville RER station; 5:04 it passes the Boulevard Périphérique, thus entering Paris.
Ok - that gives an average deceleration of 0,075 m/s² during the video, if the elevation at the station is the same or lower than the beginning it could easely coast to the station.
Ok, I don't know it google maps have elevation information (nice to know where it is anyway). But I cannot make any accurate calculation anyway, because I don't know the weel friction, air resistance etc. for the TGV's, and the elevation profile of the track.
But I know that pretty much any train will coast for 9 minutes from 150 km/h as no brakles are on - especially on a train like this with good aerodynamics and high quaility tracks and wheels.
Some parameter, yes the train need to slow down before the station who is limited to 30kmh, before this we've got "la passerelle du KM4 " who is limited to 100kmh.
Anyway we've got a ride where the enginer had stop to powered electric engine more than 50 kilometers from the station...lol we didn't believe him, and we had a demo !
As a comparison - a will decelerate 0,4-0,8 m/s² in most cases by it self only due to tire friction and air resistance when rolling without enginge power at 150 km/h :-)
Wow this is awesome i like TGV awesome train.

A train that has shaped modern history.
To say more would equal stupidity.

Didn't TGV Atlantique arrive only in Gare Montparnasse?
Since when it can stop at Gare de Lyon?

Nice!
When I read your decription - i think he did coast all the way to the station (only sound i heard from the motors, is the dynamic brakes) :-)

What was the speed of the train when video starts?

Lol, i don't know if that's could help you but it's where the vid start ( on google earth location)
48°45'15.48"N 2°28'12.07"E
The station is lower than this point !

As you can hear in the wideo, the momento is more than enough because he still have to brake.

sure did !

i meant a car rolling from 150 km/h

Yeap that's why electric trains are the best ecological way to transport a lot of peoples ! :)
