@hunarf Nerd!!! What is better? The fact that at Auschwitz were tested poisons on twins to find out which of them will live longer? Or the fact that the chemicals were injected into the iris? @HHHPPP8 That is nonsense and name calling, I wouldn't really expect anything less. Those fake atrocity stories are ridiculous. @HHHPPP8 Unlike you I read the red cross reports of the observers in the camps at the time and actual SS doctor accounts and survivors who didn't lie and I have read several books and heard numerous accounts of survivors of gulags and the conditions in those dreadful camp were far worse then anything the Germans had. It's december 7th anniversary of Pearl Harbor attack against America, soon after Americans and Russians joined together to fight the 3 monsters Hitler, Hirohito, and Mussolini!
Great video put out by the USSR AGAINST THE MURDERER HITLER!!!
@Lion1VAK The communal farms didn't exactly, um, HAVE any grain. Stalin favored Lysenkoist pseudoscience for growing crops, which led to crop failure and the starvation of millions in the Ukraine.
@N7Crazy Actually, Hitler's Nazism had many Capitalist influences, mostly in the ownership of property and businesses (Considering that Fascism is a very extreme form of Right-Wing Capitalism). I believe you have "Capitalism" confused with "Democracy"
@PaceBreaker23 Nope, he hated America! He hated them because that they promised to help pay the costs of WW1, but then the great depression came along, and they abandoned Germany. Hitler believed that it was Partly the Jews, partly the commies, and partly the capitalists in America´s fault that Germany suffered financially until the 1930´s or so.
@N7Crazy I never denied that Hitler hated the Americans, I was trying to imply that the "Capitalists" depicted in this propaganda are Nazi business owners.
@Lion1VAK Hitler did believe that he could bring back Germany to its greatest again. But he was a racist, so his way of doing it was different. But yes, he was a crazy man, and he just made it all worse in the end.
@MrOhiokid You're right. America tends to kill rather than imprison dissenters like MLK,John Lennin etc. Of course,they don't bother with 'no bodies' they can say what they like as long as no long listens...but God help you if people should actually begin to listen to you.
@MrOhiokid Praise the Party and all the blessings it has given us!
No, really. What he says is, "we can do this so much better, come on, guys, roll up your sleeves."
And what you say is "Look, those other people are much worse than we are. Lets be cautious and go back to sleep, or we could accidentally change something. We might be better, but we would probably just end up worse, and the idea threatens me."
That's true, but if I had to choose between living in Nazi Germany or Soviet USSR, I'd pick the latter. Not that either of them weren't terrible in their own special ways...
Also be careful with how you use "socialism". There's a pretty huge difference between the Soviet state-centralized socialism of the early 1900's and the present day social democratic movements of Sweden, Iceland, or Canada. The higher-than-average standard of living in these countries attests to this fact.
Since I am from Iceland I feel inclined to answer :)
The standard of living in Iceland has is as high as it is because of the productivity of the people but not the involvement of the state. The state is rather an anchor, hindering financial progress. When the state does interfere, notwithstanding its stated intention, it usually transfers huge amounts of wealth from the general population to small groups of people. The crash of 2008 being and obvious example.
Again, I partly agree with you, but I'm surprised by your explanation of the 2008 collapse. Wasn't it due to the failure of the 3 major banks and the global effects of the American financial collapse? And as for standard of living: do you not have the world's highest literacy rate precisely because of your history of publicly-funded schools? The state can be useful when it invests dollars in a sound, democratic fashion. But yes I agree: too often, states do the opposite!
You are right about the banks. They borrowed too much and couldn't repay. But shortly before their collapse the National Central bank injected massive amount of money into them in a rescue attempt but that money disappeared and taxpayers must pay. After the collapse the government decided to secure all deposits which made allot of people glad until they realized that over 90% of the money belonged to very few people, so people that had nothing will repay the loss of the rich.
I also think it is wrong to assume that if the state doesn't provide education, there would be no education at all.
One bad thing about state education is that it is so uniform. Everyone here goes to state funded schools, there are no alternatives and the state decides what is taught in ALL schools. Which might be the reason why we are so oblivious of the wrongdoings of the state. We only know what the state feels comfortable with us knowing.
The reason why people often do not know or care about the wrongdoings of the state isn't because of public education. In Canada, for example, we learn about civics and democratic citizenship which, if you contrast it with the actual political reality, would actually make a person MORE aware of state abuses. I think the real reason people don't know/care is because it simply is easier to not care about politics, regardless of how educated you are. It's harder to be informed or care.
@icarus313 I must point out that if the state is allowed to dictate what is taught, the danger is that people will falsely believe that they know all there is to know about politics and will be unable to make enlightened decisions.
I am reading a book called "End the Fed" and it's about the functions of central banks. It is revealing and shocking. Surely public education never touches the topic of central banks and their role.
Right because clearly private schools are the big leaders when it comes to teaching our kids about central banks... How do you figure that? Look, I agree with the spirit of your point. There's a tonne of important shit that doesn't make it into our educations system. Public or private. I'm totally with you there. But you're taking it to a very odd conclusion, I must say. What fundamental property of privately-owned schools makes them more likely to better-educate children?
@icarus313 Arnarstyrb has a bit poor understanding on the goings-on of his own country. Or more to the point, cause and effect. He seems to have some great cause somewhere he believes in, and doesnt look the whole picture.
@IndisguiseIam I guess you can educate me on the goings-on in my country. You say I'm missing the big picture, but you fail to mention where I'm wrong and where you are right.
@IndisguiseIam That's just lame quibble. You know exactly what I meant, but like so many socialists you prefer playing with words so you can avoid the facts of the argument.
Who gives a damn about what nation your from, wheather it be America or Russia? I have a friend from Ukrain, and do I care? No, I don't. I respect him and his beliefs, so can't America just give it up with the whole trust issue?
This is an important piece of propaganda, especially these days, when the false dichotomy between capitalism and socialism is being so heavily propogated on US TV.
In case you forgot, there is a third route. Fascism.
There shouldn't be an ultimatum between big government and corporative capitalism because it is possible to tax the super rich more and provide free healthcare for everyone without increasing other taxes or intervening peoples lives too much. Some issues like healthcare and education can't be only about private business, people are just not able to comprehend these subjects intellectually, they can't have free choice in what they don't know . Some things are also cheaper when done in bulk.
@Arnarstyrb Well, Stalin killed more people than Hitler, impoverished his people while Hitlers choices made germans richer, at least until the war started.
The main difference was that Hitler was foreign.
Of course, most soviet citizens had rarely heard of Hitler, and large part could not read, and movies were not that often available. Actually, pictures were not that often available either.
Good point. In many Soviet towns German soldiers were celebrated as saviors by the people which says a lot about how the communists treated them. But my earlier comment was sarcastic.
when it comes to propaganda. this hits teh bat. while it sure it has the elemets of propagnada. its more accurate. it allso does not blame germans, but hitler.
Communism? Capitalism? What difference does it make? It's a false choice. They're just two different roads that lead to exactly the same place: a society in which all the wealth & power are concentrated in the hands of the few with the masses living in poverty. Left to their own devises,both systems produce exactly the same structured society.
@awesome696969696 What I wrote isn't really original.It comes from Orwell's '1984' and the forbidden book by Goldstein which basically said just what I wrote that it 's the 'natural order' or mankind to have a society structured like that.You can overcome it for a little while with a revolution but it always returns to the same structure because those at the top ALWAYS entrench themselves & begin taking an extra portion of everything for themselves to the point everyone is deprived.
@waitew Ok, but what everyone doesn't realize is that AMERICA IS NOT 100% Capitalist. In fact, there is NO SUCH THING as a PURE CAPITALIST COUNTRY. The U.S is mostly Capitalist, which is true, but the government also has some control over the economy, but not entirely. I'm not mad or anything, I'm just proving a point.
@IndisguiseIam Of course there is democracy left. The country is about 70% Capitalist and 30% Communist (in my opinion). There is definitely a one man, one vote system. No economy is perfect. NONE.
@waitew Yeah right, considering the average income in the U.S. is close to 50,000 a year we're far from living in poverty, even during a recession. The average Cuban earns 30 dollars a month and in North Korea even less. Capitalism is a roaring lion while communism is just an annoying fly
@cbohar84 Actually,I think the average income is closer to $30,000 a year and you need to take into consider the COST of living in those places where it's made.It's very possible to make 50,000 per year & be living in 'poverty' if it costs that much or more to live where you make that money & can't make that kind of money someplace else.Left to it's own devices (no regulation) Capitalism would love slave labor,child labor,unlimited work hours,no safety liability,etc.Just as evil as Communism.
@waitew Thats the exact reason communism was invented and created. Capitalism used all those, slave labor, child labor, unlimited work hours, no work safety standards. Communism actually became better than capitalism was before, but then democracy and humanist and liberal ideas transformed capitalism into something much better by taking the -economic- system, and improving on its effect by political means (democracy)
Often people tend to mix economic and political systems.
communism has right structure and ideas,the problem is that people are DOOMED to get corrupted when power gets to their hands,and thus,they fail to serve their purpose,communism in china for example has nothing to do with what Marx said....
@waitew Then let's take an example: in a house isolated from other world there are nine people from different countries, not knowing each others' language. The tenth human is in the room upstairs, guarged by human number eleven and looks through monitors upon the inspired fight which the ten people begin for the left there food (capitalism). And then imagine one big friendly family: mother, father, their ancestors and shildrens, living peasefully in the same house sharing the food (communism).
Both masses living in poverty? In most capitalistic countries the greater part of the population isn't exactly poor, rather wealthy. And in the communistic countries the greater part over the population isn't exactly rich, rather below mediocre.
@krackerhoofd "In most capitalistic countries the greater part of the population isn't exactly poor, rather wealthy"[Quote] Wait & see. The only thing that kept the US masses out of poverty was regulation of the corporations & they've been tearing that down for over 30 years and the birds are just now coming home to roost. Now that they (Corporations) are left to their own devises (they control the US Government=Fascist) you'll soon see just how well Capitalism works for the masses.
@waitew There are other choices, you know. The world is so stuck to the triangle of Communism/Capitalism/Fascism, that people often are unable to understand that there are choices which are none of these, and even that these three may not even be real systems.
There are even systems, which are in use, succesfully, but which are not even translated in english because their existence is not realized.
@IndisguiseIam What kind of system (in actual practice not just on paper) wouldn't have a small number at the top (that's the problem) that entrench themselves & take an extra portion for themselves and the expense of the masses? I can't think of one.
@waitew If that is the system you want, your answer is "complete and utter anarchy with no government of any kind, no co-operation of any kind, and no human contact, except strictly for breeding purposes."
Maybe you should just seriously, VERY seriously and meticulously re-think about the problems, and the questions you ask, if you do not like the answers you get either.
@GrandMasterFreshMpls I think it's impossible NOT to have someone at the top. BUT they should never be allowed to stay there long enough to develop the,"I'll scratch your back,you scratch mine" relationships that corrupt.They should not be allowed to invest during or after.They should not be allowed to 'consult' during or after.Whoever follows them them MUST have no known connection to them.This should apply to everyone of any importance in Government Not just the people at the very top.
@butternutsquashpie you're saying true communism is inevitably a deviation from itself? Can you not see that you're argument is a paradox, or are you retarded?
@waitew Yes, except that capitalism will likely result in a global government a bit more rapidly because of how it targets nationalistic tendencies wherever international finance capital sinks its fingers into.
unlike this propaganda...U.S. propaganda against the soviet union is fake...i wouldn't even be surprised if stalin never actualy comited genocide but it was actualy a well thought out excuse to explain how so many russians died when the U.S. sabotage caused them massive famines.
@Leninslineage and what else? Were the CIA responsible for the plague? Were the CIA responsible for the death of all dinosaurs? Fact is that millions of people did die under the oppression of the Soviet communist era. Or was it perhaps Finland's own fault for being invaded? Or was it perhaps the entire eastern Europe's fault they didn't get a chance to rule over themselves? Communism is and has always been as bad as Fascism, having killed just as many if not more through time.
@wellerocks your CIA was just as prone to torture people to death they saw as a threat to "capitalism" as the KGB was....only difference is the CIA does it knowing they to it for the rich ultimately...they work for the pay check...and thus they work for the ones who have the most to put in their pay check...the KGB atleast "believed" it was ultimalty working for the good of all society....and no....stalinism has killed more people than facism...but captialism has killed alot more than communism
@wellerocks o btw...it still remains that your precious capitalist america remains the only one to have used an atomic weapon in war.....there was no need the soviet union was on the verge of helping you with japan...japan would have surendered facing our combined might...there was no need for the barbarism of vaporizing hundreds of thousands of civilians...o btw...you also targeted mainly civilian cities....thats a warcrime
@Leninslineage Japan wouldn't have surrendered if the Americans didn't drop the bombs. And besides, the Americans got even with the Japs for the Attack on Pearl Harbor. You can look at history anyway you want, but this is how I look at it.
I only that Russia, England, and the U.S fought Germany in WWII but I thought England hated russia too at the time. Did both really come together to fight Nazi Germany? Did the U.S help the Russians take over Berlin or where we more concerned over japan?
@mindoasis11 Communism is supposed to be the best of the best political system there is...but that's only ONLY on paper. True Communist utopias are blocked by the greedy and idiotic leaders that have ran the system over the decades
@CptChu No ones perfect, any leader will make mistakes and no mortal person is uncorruptable. Good leadership means that they try to minimise their imperfections and to be as fair as possible under the cicumstances.
There is no Utopia....but there is trying ur best
But whatever, while they're trying to get to be better leaders, the rest of us suffer from their ignorance and lack of proper leadership. Way to go communists
Any way you look at it, Capitalism is the best way to go since you have economic freedom
@mindoasis11 First off, grammar correction. It's Americans, not American. And it's "they" not "the". Also, thats a lot of commas instead of periods...If this is what the communist learning programs are teaching I'm damn proud to be a Capitalist. Though as an American, practically everyone in the backwater nations hates us, but guess what, you have to deal with us. We Americans drive the worlds economy, if we went, the world dies with us.
@CptChu Get off ur hi horse b4 someone knock u off, u capitalist fool.
Know this..The USSR collapsed because it wasn't as ruthless as the western world and if we true Communists get into power u will wake up to a beautiful RED DAWN.
@mindoasis11 Never said commies didn't have power, it's just that nobody really gives a shit about any communist nation other than North Korea. Those crazy fuckers are going to try and destroy the planet.
And if you count "ruthless" as the nation that comes to the aid of the weak, helps those nations in times of crisis, and eliminates the cave dwelling psychopath Osama (Dealing a crippling blow to terrorists). Then sure, we're the most ruthless nation
@CptChu thats why almost every country hates your beloved USA, because they are always trying to take control of every country, they get involved in conflicts at other countries just to take control of them, and they are stealing oil from a lot of countries, screwing their economies....besides, they are too racist with the rest of the world, mostly with South America....thanks god I'm not an american bitch like you....I spit over USA
@HeavyMetalRulezzzz and thats all you other nations seem to do, sit on YOUR asses and just bitch and moan about what we do while you yourself never do a damn thing about it. Because you all know your place. You know whats at stake if America fell, the whole world would die just because you lack the tolerance we all have to let the US work.
You call us intolerant idiots, well take a look in the mirror dumbass and see that you're just as bad, if not worse than the glorious United States
@CptChu ok, I'm fucking tired of you!! Thanks God I live in Russia, and we russians can kick America's ass, we can destroy your beloved piece of shit that you call "country"...we still have our ICBM's, and we can launch them and turn your country into shit....LONG LIVE RUSSIA!!! DEAD TO AMERICA!!! Коммунизм к смертной казни!!!
@HeavyMetalRulezzzz Funny, says on your channel you live in the US. BTW, you're not the only nation with ICBMs, more ICBMs stockpiled than your filthy red frozen speck of drunken half assed asian rejects, up to your ugly mugs in vodka bottles. Thinking you failures and sore losers can beat the mighty United States of America! We Won! You Lost! GET OVER IT!
We saved your sorry asses in both world wars and we can surely kick them into the ground were you all belong! USA! USA! USA! USA! OOOHA!!!
@CptChu Your country talks about "freedom and justice"...you call justice killing innocent people at otrer countries, saying that they are "terrorists"? You call justice being racist with every person that is not american?
The only people who thinks that Unites Slaves of America is the best country are those bastards who have a lot of money, and dont care about the rest of the people...All the normal people is agaist USA, including a lot of americans.

@N7Crazy Actually, Hitler's Nazism had many Capitalist influences, mostly in the ownership of property and businesses (Considering that Fascism is a very extreme form of Right-Wing Capitalism). I believe you have "Capitalism" confused with "Democracy"
PaceBreaker23 1 month ago
@PaceBreaker23 Nope, he hated America! He hated them because that they promised to help pay the costs of WW1, but then the great depression came along, and they abandoned Germany. Hitler believed that it was Partly the Jews, partly the commies, and partly the capitalists in America´s fault that Germany suffered financially until the 1930´s or so.

@N7Crazy I never denied that Hitler hated the Americans, I was trying to imply that the "Capitalists" depicted in this propaganda are Nazi business owners.

Arnarstyrb 2 months ago
@Arnarstyrb
The higher-than-average standard of living in these countries attests to this fact.
icarus313 2 months ago
@icarus313
Arnarstyrb 2 months ago
@Arnarstyrb
But yes I agree: too often, states do the opposite!
icarus313 2 months ago
@icarus313
Arnarstyrb 2 months ago
@icarus313
Arnarstyrb 2 months ago
@Arnarstyrb
It's harder to be informed or care.
icarus313 2 months ago
@icarus313 I must point out that if the state is allowed to dictate what is taught, the danger is that people will falsely believe that they know all there is to know about politics and will be unable to make enlightened decisions.
I am reading a book called "End the Fed" and it's about the functions of central banks. It is revealing and shocking. Surely public education never touches the topic of central banks and their role.
Arnarstyrb 2 months ago
@Arnarstyrb
What fundamental property of privately-owned schools makes them more likely to better-educate children?
icarus313 2 months ago
@icarus313 Arnarstyrb has a bit poor understanding on the goings-on of his own country. Or more to the point, cause and effect. He seems to have some great cause somewhere he believes in, and doesnt look the whole picture.

Arnarstyrb 3 months ago
@Arnarstyrb This videoclip has been removed during war for maintenance of the Soviet army's spirit.
HHHPPP8 2 months ago
@Arnarstyrb Well, Stalin killed more people than Hitler, impoverished his people while Hitlers choices made germans richer, at least until the war started.
The main difference was that Hitler was foreign.
Of course, most soviet citizens had rarely heard of Hitler, and large part could not read, and movies were not that often available. Actually, pictures were not that often available either.
So, there was -some- need for propaganda.

Communism? Capitalism? What difference does it make? It's a false choice. They're just two different roads that lead to exactly the same place: a society in which all the wealth & power are concentrated in the hands of the few with the masses living in poverty. Left to their own devises,both systems produce exactly the same structured society.

@awesome696969696 What I wrote isn't really original.It comes from Orwell's '1984' and the forbidden book by Goldstein which basically said just what I wrote that it 's the 'natural order' or mankind to have a society structured like that.You can overcome it for a little while with a revolution but it always returns to the same structure because those at the top ALWAYS entrench themselves & begin taking an extra portion of everything for themselves to the point everyone is deprived.
waitew 3 months ago
@waitew Ok, but what everyone doesn't realize is that AMERICA IS NOT 100% Capitalist. In fact, there is NO SUCH THING as a PURE CAPITALIST COUNTRY. The U.S is mostly Capitalist, which is true, but the government also has some control over the economy, but not entirely. I'm not mad or anything, I'm just proving a point.
awesome696969696 3 months ago
@awesome696969696 You are right. America is NOT 100% capitalist, there is still some democracy left too.
Do notice however, that there is no political system called "capitalism".
I think the correct term is corporatism, or rule of large corporations, instead of the one man, one vote system.
IndisguiseIam 2 months ago
@IndisguiseIam Of course there is democracy left. The country is about 70% Capitalist and 30% Communist (in my opinion). There is definitely a one man, one vote system. No economy is perfect. NONE.
awesome696969696 2 months ago
@waitew Yeah right, considering the average income in the U.S. is close to 50,000 a year we're far from living in poverty, even during a recession. The average Cuban earns 30 dollars a month and in North Korea even less. Capitalism is a roaring lion while communism is just an annoying fly
cbohar84 3 months ago
@cbohar84 Actually,I think the average income is closer to $30,000 a year and you need to take into consider the COST of living in those places where it's made.It's very possible to make 50,000 per year & be living in 'poverty' if it costs that much or more to live where you make that money & can't make that kind of money someplace else.Left to it's own devices (no regulation) Capitalism would love slave labor,child labor,unlimited work hours,no safety liability,etc.Just as evil as Communism.
waitew 3 months ago
@waitew Thats the exact reason communism was invented and created. Capitalism used all those, slave labor, child labor, unlimited work hours, no work safety standards. Communism actually became better than capitalism was before, but then democracy and humanist and liberal ideas transformed capitalism into something much better by taking the -economic- system, and improving on its effect by political means (democracy)
Often people tend to mix economic and political systems.
IndisguiseIam 2 months ago
@waitew
communism has right structure and ideas,the problem is that people are DOOMED to get corrupted when power gets to their hands,and thus,they fail to serve their purpose,communism in china for example has nothing to do with what Marx said....
metallicarockk 3 months ago
@waitew Then let's take an example: in a house isolated from other world there are nine people from different countries, not knowing each others' language. The tenth human is in the room upstairs, guarged by human number eleven and looks through monitors upon the inspired fight which the ten people begin for the left there food (capitalism). And then imagine one big friendly family: mother, father, their ancestors and shildrens, living peasefully in the same house sharing the food (communism).

Now that they (Corporations) are left to their own devises (they control the US Government=Fascist) you'll soon see just how well Capitalism works for the masses.
waitew 2 months ago
@waitew There are other choices, you know. The world is so stuck to the triangle of Communism/Capitalism/Fascism, that people often are unable to understand that there are choices which are none of these, and even that these three may not even be real systems.
There are even systems, which are in use, succesfully, but which are not even translated in english because their existence is not realized.
IndisguiseIam 2 months ago
@IndisguiseIam What kind of system (in actual practice not just on paper) wouldn't have a small number at the top (that's the problem) that entrench themselves & take an extra portion for themselves and the expense of the masses? I can't think of one.
waitew 2 months ago
@waitew If that is the system you want, your answer is "complete and utter anarchy with no government of any kind, no co-operation of any kind, and no human contact, except strictly for breeding purposes."
