I have got a very good hint for you to keeping the nice old Engine in good shape with todays ultra dry eco fuels: Use 1:100 API TC two stroke oil / fuel mix as regular driving fuel, that keeps the old fuel-system gaskets, rubber parts, alloy parts etc... and cast iron metal surfaces of those vintage engines in excellent shape...and it also lubricates the valves and upper piston regions. Most Porsche vintage owners in Germany do so :) Also keeps carbs and tank clean and rustfree
As bigsi1968 wrote, it's a DB4 Series 1 or 2. Rear lights changed with series 3, air scoop on the bonnet and grille changed with series 4. My dad's got a series 3.
It is most definitely a DB4, either series 1 or 2. The distinguishing features are the cathedral rear lights, egg crate grill and shorter wheelbase than later DB4s and DB5. I think it is a series 1, as the side window surrounds are not there. On a series 2 there were chrome metal window frames. So I am very sorry Ksmokal, it most definitely is not a DB5. They are all the most gorgeous cars ever built though!
It's a DB4. I tried posting links to a picture of a DB5 and a picture of a DB4 so the comparison was easier, but I wasn't allowed. The differences are fairly substantial - The shape of the bonnet is different, the size of the bonnet intake vent is bigger on the DB4. The main headlights sit at a 90 degree angle, wheras in a DB5 - they are curved. The DB4 has 2 lights on either side (one indicator and one other) underneath its main headlamp, the DB5 has 1. The grills are completely different too.
Not to mention the tail lights are difffernt on a DB4 than a DB5. Not that one can tell, but the DB4 came with dual SU carbs where the standard DB5 had three. This is a DB4. Refer to the book by Whtye.
The steering wheel is on the wrong side for James Bond as well.

chemical specialist and engine engineers tell 4 stroke engine owners (of older cars)
to putting 1% two stroke oil into the fuel too, because the modern fuel contains
alcohol and acid, the modern 2 Stroke oil neutralizes these corrosion factors and
lubricates the carbs, tanks or / and injection systems also the upper cylinder parts.
2 Stroke oil cleans piston rings and combustion chambers too.

This is a DB4!
Check out the headlights and the indicator / side lights. DB5 doesn't have the small sidelights under the main headlights.
Plus the wing-mirrors are in the wrong place for it to be a DB5!

@paullubliner
What DB5 has an air-scoop that big, 2 smaller lamps under the main beams and mirrors like that?
